A big yep to all of the above! I'm glad to know this is usual behavior for Yorkies...I was beginning to wonder if I was doing something wrong to cause my Teddy to do these things! He is in time out right now b/c he got after Dad's feet and wouldn't stop when told to! LoL... the little scamp loves to play with our feet! Once in a while he goes wild in his exercise pen running back and forth throwing his toys into the air and then chasing them growling and barking...it is hilarious and he really gets excited when we laugh at him for doing it and like someone else mentioned....he always has to have the last word when told to stop doing something....his grandma calls it fussing back...LOL!

Bengi gets all crazy all of the sudden. He runs back and forth like he wants to play, so I go after him like I want to catch him, he runs under the table, then runs fast to the bedroom, under the bed, when I get there he goes back to the living room and runs around the sofa, and then the race starts again, it's so much fun!!!!!

Yes, Yes and Yes! He holds things hostage for a treat. And I also have a laundry thief. The bad thing is that he is so darn cute that I laugh at him and of course this eggs him on.

YES! Totally does all that. I find it out though, sometimes it's as if they're on speed or something. Mischevious lil' ones. It makes me laugh and that is probably why they say those with pets live longer right?

My two do all of the above also. Lucy will run like crazy down the hall with Rebel right behind her barking his little head off. When I look at them and ask if they want to go out, both sets of ears perk up and they take off for the back door with Lucy turning circles. When they get there, Rebel stands on his back legs with the front ones on Lucy's back until I get the door open then takes off across the porch barking after her.

They seem to run around the house like crazy about the same time every night. It's like that last little burst for the night.

Yes, both Hootie and Hobbs do all of the above!!!! They will get food out of their food bowl and throw it around, lunge at it, run in circles around it...they will also get ahold of my pants legs or slippers (while I'm wearing them) and literally attack them. It's quite amusing to say the least.

Rocky will do his laps around the house every now and then. It's like he just gets a burst of energy, or maybe he's trying out for a track team that he hasn't told me about. I think it's hilarious

It's good to hear Teddy's not the only one. All your furbabies sound so fun. That's what I like about Teddy he always keeps me moving. It's also mostly at night that he goes crazy and he also steals my laundry like socks and my BRA's! I always take it away then he goes and gets another one from my drawer, like he's doing right now. lol Then when he has something he'll drop it infront of me or show it to me on purpose so that I will chase him and he is very good at not getting caught. Of course sometimes I act like I can't catch him just for fun. It boosts his confidence. lol

Yep "zoomies" or "turbo-ing"......my guys do that too. It was so annoying last night! They destroyed a whole roll of wrapping paper with their exhuberance. I was wrapping on the floor and they both came tearing through and started "bickering" right in my lap. It was cute actually.

Emma does this too-my chi did this as well. Our vet called it "FRAP" or "FRAPing"-which stands for Frantic Random Active Period. Most healthy dogs do this when they need fast exercise, or when they're happy and they get a burst of energy! Let's all be glad we have frapping yorkies rather than frapping Great Danes! Can you imagine that in one house!??!

I'm always finding my clothes in Rocky's bed! After I shower I put my clothes I'm going to wear on my bed, and Rocky always thinks I'm putting my socks out for him to play with!

I remember when I had 2 boxers at once, and they would both do this together. For the few minutes I would stand up against a wall, or stay put on the couch LOL. I wasn't about to get knocked over..because if they did run into someone or something, they didn't stop.
