Sorry I have not had a chance to post an introduction nor to reply to all the warm welcomes. The last week has been a bit challenging. I feel like I have a newborn at night and a toddler in the day time. LOL She has won our hearts that's for sure! Let's just say that if I hadn't found this forum I wouldn't have been as some what prepared as I was. Boy oh boy Maggie is such a cutie. Great little personality, my children absolutely adore her to say the least and were so excited about getting her from Santa that they didn't even pay attention to their new laptops until at least an hour after they got her. They have all been doing their part to help take care of her. The note that Santa left with instructions on how to take care of her and what the rules are was a big help. I am still trying to get the hang of posting so I am not sure if I am posting in the right place. I have so much more to say but I will go and post an introduction in the meet and greet. ttyl,Maggiesmama

| I got my first Yorkie for Christmas. I brought her home on December 19 weighing 2.6 lbs and she was just over 10 weeks old. Here is a pic I took of her on her first day with us, and one I took last night in her new super girl shirt. She is now 12 weeks old and weighs 2.8 lbs. I am looking at some of these baby pics and wondering why my girls ears are not standing yet!!??!?!? She has a TON of hair!!! She looks so plump and big but when she is wet, you can see how tiny she is under all that hair...ok..I'll put a pic of her taking her first bath too hehe

I can relate to the having a new born at night. Jewelina gets up about every four hours and cries and I have to get up and hold her until she goes back to sleep, its crazy! lol Don't worry about the posting, you're doing great and you'll learn more and more the longer your here! Warm wishes to you and your baby!!

Maggies is adorable! Jewlina is the same way she looks like this big furball and then when you wet her she's super tiny! Jewlina's ears aren't standing yet either and she'll be 10 weeks old on Tuesday. Sometimes trimming the hair on the back of their ears makes their ears pop up and if that doesn't work you can tape them until they stand on their own. Sometimes it just takes a little time though...

| I'm having such a wonderful time with my little man, I don't know what I ever did without him. It's going to be hard to go back to work next week and leave him. He's been sooooo good...I can hardly believe he's real. He's 16 weeks old now, and he sleeps through the night, happily bunks down in his bed at night with no fuss, and the pee pad aim is getting better . I just gave him his first bath today (by me - he'd had a bath before he came to me) and he was such a brave little guy I'm so proud of him! All he ever wants to do is cuddle up in my lap and be my shadow. His relationship with my husband is improving...but he's most definitely attached to me.He's been to visit several family members and charms them all to bits. He's even learning to travel in his carry-bag so I can shop with him. The long 6 hour drive home was easy - he slept the entire way and I didn't even need to give him Gravol.I love my perfect little baby. |

| She is sooooo cute.....where did you get her????? Regarding the ears....you need to trim the hair on the outside of the ear most of the way down to the head...well, more than half....then use dental strips on the inside of the ear to stand the ear up.....the weight of the hair on the ear is weighing it down... )) Quote:

I can imagine your excitment! I was acting giddy...literally giddy like a 4 year old kid in a candy store the day I went to get Jewelina! Time is going to pass by SOOOO slowly for you! At least it did for me and then all the sudden it was like I didn't have enough time to get everything done before I had to leave to pick her up! LOL I just posted some new pictures of her in the My Yorkie section. I can't wait to see little Hokule'a 's pictures
