| and yet more stress well my last post was about layla's anal glands.. HUGE issue... please post if you can help! but NOW my father has told me that my uncle wants to get my cousin a yorkie for christmas (WORST TIME EVER to get a new pet) these are ppl that left their cat in a car for 6 hours in 40 degree heat (Canadian.. sorry don't know the conversation... 90 maybe?) while they went to a wedding and his wife .. when i showed up at their house with my grandmother and layla.. she said to me.. is that thing going to piss on my floors.. no hello.. nothing.. so they are NOT pet ppl.. esp not Yorkie ppl.. i wrote my uncle this nice email telling him that layla is as demanding as a baby.. even now that she is 9 months old... i suggested maybe a less high maintenance dog like a Cocker Spaniel (one that can stand some heat or cold... a more sturdy dog.. and a personal favorite) and to wait for the summer when their daughter (who is 11) is off school.. there is NO way his wife is going to take care of htis dog all day.. it will be in its crate surrounded by poop.. i'm sure of it... so PLEASE pray that my uncle takes my advice... i don't even want to hear if he gets one.. i'll be so sick worrying about the poor thing. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | me too - I have a cocker - she is wearing her sweater - she doesn't stand the cold well & I would never in a million years leave her in a car or outside - She's a total inside dog and always will be. I hope if they get a smaller size dog they'll NEVER leave him or her outside. WHY BOTHER GETTING A DOG if you're going to do that ???? maybe suggest a nice stuffed animal - they come in ALL sizes |

| I am so mad because my boyfriend's parents own a cocker spaniel and it is chained up outside from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM EVERYDAY! She's only three and she's been going outside everyday since a little before her first birthday. They said she peed too much on the floor. The only time she gets to come in is when it is raining. She's even outside when it's snowing!! And they talk about how they would never want to get a mixed animal because they are too much of a bother and someone else's problem! After I got Maizee, they were seriously looking into getting a Yorkie as well. Thankfully they are tightwads and would never want to spend that much on a dog. They want a purebred dog for less than $300. . Plus, his grandmother lives next door and they have a really old Malamute that is outside 24/7 365 chained to her house. I am about this close || to turning them all in. |

I feel so bad for poor Becka. I hope you uncle can get a "furreal" pet or stuffed animal instead. |
