| Just by curiosity Yersterday , I was talking to Gazou's breeder and she told that she have been very surprise that I let him chose me and buy him . She told me that peoples are searching for more for females than males . Is there a reason peoples ask more for females ? I have Gazou and I am very happy with him . | I love my male I don't know why people would rather have females, but I think it would be fun to dress girls up in dresses and bows as I don't put them on my male.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I can't explain why people prefer females. I guess they think they are less aggressive or more loving My sil has a female lab and that dog will eat you alive if she thinks you are harming her mom. I can tell you after owning, or being owned by cats, the males are much more loving than any of my females ever were. Intially, we wanted a female yorkie, but Trace really stole our hearts. | I think one of the main reasons that someone would want a female instead of male is the humping issue what they dont relize is that females do it also my female (spayed) is forever trying to hump my poor cat lol |

| Maximus just got 2 new shirts, one is black and says, "I love my Human" and the other is blue, white and green Argyle. They are way cute! I like the argyle the best! I love to dress him up in "old Man" style clothes! I have had male dogs most of my life and I love them! My family choses our dogs based on personality and it may be just a coincidence, but the males are usually the ones that steal our hearts! PS- I was very close to getting a female yorkie I had a really hard time choosing cause Max and his sister were sooo cute and loving!

| Stewie wears boys clothes. He has 2 White Sox shirts a black shirt w/ a red skull on the back (its cute) a Chicago Bulls shirt a Red polo w/ yellow collar a green & orange sweater a shirt that says "bitches love me" a shirt w/ his name and paw print on the back a University of Illinois tee a tee shirt that says "I <3 Mom!" on the back that he wore yesterday. and probably 10 more that I can't remember right now. I like shopping for boys clothes better -- and that goes for human baby boys, too.

| I've heard the same thing. Females typically cost more than males too. I think it is because the money you can potentially make off of them if you decide to breed. I also selected a male and was told them same thing...

| Thank you for all the answers . It was really funny for me to hear from the breeder that she have been surprised that I chose a boy instead of a girl . I chose the one who came to me , placed him with the other , he came back to me . |
