Maddie's eyes show as a gold or amber, but her coat feels soooo soft...so this is just a modified silk? Autumn doesn't feel silky, but her eyes are green and Gizmos are like a redish gold.

| Ben's (my yorkie puppy) are still a blue but my Jack Russell has green eyes in reflection -- even if you shine a flashlight at her in the dark -- green as can be.

| Probably too much information, but... Scientifically, it is the reflection of the back of the eye that causes the green or amber color and helps them to see better in dim light. Humans get a red flash reflection. It is a blue reflection in puppies until their eye is completely developed. |

| This is my girl Ava and her coat couldn't be any more correct in texture for the standard. It's full and it's silky-and she has green eye shine. |

Anyhoo...sorry I babbled...LOL Ok so I am going to check out that thread and see if I can figure out what kind of coat Autumn has....she feels soft and silky around her face, but her back and legs feel cottony???
