| New mom I just got my first yorkie on Friday night. He is 10 weeks old and we have named him Ozi (After Ozzy Osbourne of course, my boyfriends favorite singer) he is absolutely adorable and I am already in love with him!! He is quite calm but I am thinking that is only because he has just come home and once he is used to the house he will loosen up a bit. I came across this site and decided to join after reading the wonderful post, and all the great information that is here. I am in the process of crate training and he has started paper training, but I have purchased some pee pads to get him started on those. It is nice to know that there is somewhere to go when you need help!! This site is wonderful!! Keep it up. P.S. I am already addicted lol!! |

| Welcome to YT. We like pictures when you get it figured out how to post them. You are right he'll loosen up and be zooming around the house in no time. At 10 weeks they still sleep the biggest share of the day. |

| WELCOME, I am new here to but not new to yorkie owning lol. The info here is just amazing, I particularly reccomend the heath board there is info thier on avoidable health issues, doggy CPR, common poisions and their antidotes. Brilliant info!!! Have fun with your new baby but be worned this site and yorkies are ADDICTIVE!!! Someone told me when I got my yorkies that "Dogs are a tie" I thought they meant like you want to go on a holiday but cant find someone to look after your dog. BUT OH NO yes they are tie but because I CANT BE WITHOUT THEM, many of my family would happily have them for the week so I could go away but I just cant if they aint coming with me I aint going!!!! Sad but true im afraid, yorkies just have a way of getting into your heart. My husband once asked me if I had to pick my yorkies or him, wow did I change the subject quickly not answering that one lol!!!!!!! Ruthx
