| How to Survive the "Kung-Fu Yorkie Claw Attack"! How many of your Yorkies has mastered the Kung-Fu Yorkie Claw Attack? Jazzie is the Grand Master. The Kung-Fu Yorkie Claw Attack is a very powerful move that ALWAYS renders the victim into complete submission. Not familiar with the move? This is where out of blue your Yorkie jumps you and digs their claws at you. Jazzie will do this mostly while I'm on YT. I'm sitting on my sofa with the laptop on the coffee table and next thing I know she's clawing at my shoulder or trying to undo my ponytail. She makes me immediately stop typing or reading and surrender to her. If you are ever attacked by this anciant form of martial arts, read the following tips for your survival: 1. Stop, duck and take cover (protect sensitive areas like your eyes) 2. Sweetly ask them if they want ________. (your choice: treat, toy, walk etc.) 3. VERY IMPORTANT: Do what you asked they wanted! 4. Do one more thing to make them happy 5. You can now safely go back to YT for about another 30min to an hour before another possible attack. To avoid the attacks all together. Learn to type with one hand! You will need the spare hand to pet or play with a toy.

| Me too! Only TJ would do this. I would be sitting on the couch and he would come from behind and DIG at my head (he wanted my clip or pony tail band). He hasn't done that in awhile. Although, sometimes on the weekends if I 'make' TJ and Roxy go back to bed with me...TJ gives me 1 more hour and then he starts to dig on my head to get up! |

| Sadie has a black belt in this maneuver. But it's not just when I'm on YT...it's whenever I'm not paying attention to her.

| Venus has left marks on my shoulders before trying to crawl up to sit on my shoulder! Looked like I got in a cat fight and lost a few times. Seems she's loved to sit on my shoulder since I brought her home. Now, her head is on one shoulder, and feet go all the way to the other shoulder! She can no longer fit on one side, as now she's 5 months old. Glad she isn't the only one that does this! I'm usually in the recliner, watching tv, so I have both hands free! |

| Duke doesn't claw, but he does jump! Even though he's light, having him jump on your belly, back, or head does hurt. I've been laying on the couch many times when he was laying on top of the couch, only to have dozed to a nap, to have my breath knocked outta me when he decides he will use me as a landing pad. He also walks all over us constantly, like we are just climbing toys.
