| ![]() Thanx! I love bragging about them and showing them off. Only one is a Biewer and the other three are Remi my USA/AKC parti boy. Hard to tell which is which, isn't it? The only way you could tell Remi is not a Biewer is the fact that he has a docked tail. When I breed him to my girl who carries the piebald gene, I will hopefully be the proudest mom in all of Yorkiedom!!! BTW, the first pic is the Biewer. The rest are Remi as the pics show. I have such a wonderful tiny boy, PTCruiser, who is a Biewer. I will use him ONLY with my Biewer females...Rest assured Remi will be DNA'd so that there will be no question who the sire is..OMG, I have created my own monster--ME!! I am just attaching pics right and left. Of course, tomorrow I will have to re-discover how to do it.. |

| ![]() I'd know that gorgeous face anywhere. I stared at it for two months (two very long months). He really is one of the best looking Biewers I've seen.

| ![]() Those puppies are beautiful!!!. I am glad you figured out how to post them. When you do breed, I will be first in line. I was researching the biewers and the only website I found a price on said they started at $3500. Stacie |

| ![]() The process of getting Cruiser was a very long and almost heart-breaking story. He was sent to me through divine planning, I am sure. He has been in hospital twice-the last time he was pretty sick. But,he is all better and we love him so much that it is scary sometimes. Of course, we don't let the others know we say that cause their feelings would be hurt..Remi and he are so different and now that I have the chocs. I have 4 males!!!!!!! Cruiser is the bestest little house-trained boy. There are times when I look at these babies and wonder what I ever did to deserve them..Then they get into something naughty, and I think "I peed somebody off; that is what I did to deserve them!"..LOL |

| ![]() Well I knew my ears were a burning..lol..I haven't been on the board for a while but something told me to check it today. Lo and behold..Biewer talk..LOL For the longest time I was trying to get a full understanding of the difference between Biewers and Tri yorkies. As Rini (whispersmom) stated earlier, Biewers need to be marked in specific way. Tris can be the colored and the placement of the markings are not important. You can read the standard on my website. It was given to my by a member of the club in girls are registered with in Germany. www.stellaryorkies.com (go to Biewer Gals page). I do plan on breeding my girls but only to a true Biewer. Infact, I have a little male that I am waiting on. He is only 3 wks, time will tell. His name is 'Dice' aka 'Dice Man'. Back to the standard..please visit my site and read about it. One thing I can say is that they differ from Tris in size for sure. In Europe, they like their Yorkies bigger like 6 pounds M or F. If you have anymore questions, just ask. I'll try to help educate. Incase anyone is wondering, I am not in the business of brokering puppies. I won't have a litter of my own until next year if all goes as planned. Hope and Harmony will be 1 on the 4th of July. I have 3 other girls that just arrived on Tuesday, they are only 11wks old. You can see pics of Hope and Harmony on my site..didn't get pics of they new girls yet..they just don't sit still.lol I'll try to post a pic of Dice Man...he's only 3 wks so he's too young to strike a pose..LOL Hugs, Iwini..LOL Last edited by YorkieRini; 05-07-2005 at 07:43 AM. |

| ![]() Biewers and the tri-coloreds are the same thing. Both have the recissive pie-bald gene-BUT the tri-coloreds are AKC registered. The Biewers are registered in Germany and may NEVER be recognized by the AKC, because they are not a seperate breed just a yorkie with a fault. |

| ![]() Actually, the Biewer and Tris are not exactly the same. Tris when bred can produce blue/gold Yorkies. Also, the 3 colors can in any pattern. Biewers however will not produce a blue/gold Yorkie. And the color pattern is specific, unlike the Tri. 4 white legs, white belly, white tip on tail...you can read the entire standard on my website. The Tri color doesn't have a standard. The Germans did take the Tri and fine tuned it with the Biewer standard. This is how a new breed is created.
