| So glad that she is home and feeling better. Did she have to be spayed? If it said in an earlier post, I'm sorry I missed it. My Mollie had to be spayed when her puppies were about 5 - 6 weeks old her uterus never went back to it's pre pregancy size and she started bleeding again like she was in heat. How many puppies did she have? The little girl is adorable.

| Lily is back in the hospital....I woke up at 3am to feed the babies and she was doing horrible. Breathing sounded extremely raspy and shallow.....she was moaning and hardly had any muscle control. Took her to vet right away...doctor said that the infection from the mastitis has spread deep down into the leg and is taking over her tiny body.....might have pnemonia. They put her on IV and 3 antibiotics to try and get her stabalized.......so sad. Pups are doing great though, here is a pic from this morning.....after feeding and stimulating them...sleeping comfortable with their stuffed animal. I will keep everyone updated.......please keep Lily in your prayers....she really needs them!!!!!!! By the way, if anyone else has had anything similar to this with their yorkie, please let me know what to expect. |

| Just a quick update on Lily....the infection from mastitis got in a lymph and ran down her leg......gangrene....that is what was causing the horrible odor! My poor baby girl was in so much pain.....doctor said that she is responding well to the antibiotics though. They want to keep her until sometime tomorrow. I get to call and check on her this afternoon.....I know she must be sooo scared without us. Please continue to pray for her! p.s. and no, they have not spayed her yet |
