| She is darling! She is the same weight our Yogi was at 12 weeks and he is now 5 1/2 lbs. Just watch that she eats and drinks often. She looks healthy.

| Hi, congrats to the new baby!! She is adorable Try not to worry about her low weight. Yorkies have different spurts of growing. She may gain fast or stay very tiny. I have two yorkie girls myself. Trixie wasn't even 1 lb. at 12 weeks of age and now at 14 months she is just hitting 5 lbs. My other yorkie is Pia and she is very tiny. She's 2 lbs. and 1 yr. 7 mths old. Both babies are extrememly healthy. I give Pia 2-3 licks of nutrical every day just to be safe. I had no idea Pia was going to be so small. I was a nervous wreck at first with her. Trixie was the smallest dog I had ever seen so when I got Pia I was beyond amazed. I got Pia when she was almost 1 yr old and she only weighed 1.8 at that time so I do know how you feel. She may have weighed a few more ounces then Trixie did but Trixie was 12 weeks and Pia was 1 yr. Pia's frame is so tiny and that makes such a difference in my opinion. Your baby will more then likely double that weight and maybe a little more. Try not to worry!! I bet everyone on here can relate to your feelings of having such a small dog for the first time. Pia at 2 lbs. has grown on me and the nerves have gone away. I promise you will get used to her size. Yorkies may be tiny whether 2 lbs. or 10 but they are tough little buggers. You are going to have so much fun with her. Can't wait to see future pics!! |

| That baby is BEAUTIFUL! I was nervous when I got Hope, she is 8 months old and weighs 4.4 lbs, but she is trying hard to be the LEADER of my large pack of 5, largest being 95 lb. lab. She holds her on great and has no problem running with the BIG dogs.. my other Yorkie was 4 lbs. at 12 weeks and is now a whopping 16 lbs! Other than being afraid that someone will step on her she does great! She gets held ALOT, but only by adults... Good Luck with your new baby! d

| Update On 1.09 Yorkie At 12 Weeks, Here She Is Now... Hi to Everyone. Remember the post for 1.09 lb yorkie at 12 weeks. Was so scared then because my first yorkie was tiny too when I get her and she was so sickly. I'm glad that this one is different. Here is the update on that 1.09 lb yorkie way back then. She is 5 months now and very healthy. |

| Cute little one.I have a litter of four and the smallest female is 1 pound and 6 oz's now her brothers and sisters are bigger than her but she is the boss of all of them, she is the scrapper of the bunch and rules the house here .Wewill miss the little peanut a bunch when she goes to her new home as we are kinda attached to the little stinker. I bought one of my females at 12 weeks and she was 12oz and is about 5 1/2 now.Keep a good eye on her being she is so tiny but they can be quite durable also and quite delicate at the same time! |

| Same here Mine is 1.38 lbs at 4 months. She was under a pound at 12 weeks. She is loves to eat. There was no need for nutri-cal. So, unless it is needed, don't give it to her just because. She will gain more. Especially if she eats and drinks fine. Mine is sertainly great at her weight. Ask the breeder to show you pics of her relatives and you will know how big she is going to get. |
