I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Was just browsing the infamous yourpup.com What the heck is he doing??? Selling a "red Yorkie", which does NOT even look like a Yorkie at all! Scroll down until you see "Scooter"...he is towards the very bottom of the page on the right hand side. This puppy CANNOT be a purebred Yorkie!!! There is no way!!

| Those yorkies look like some kind of mix. Why do people buy yorkies from him again?

| Under the Puppy Health section it says use cattle & horse wormer! He also says bordetella does not often prevent kennel cough! and to let it run its course. There is no magic pill or cure. Then he says to feed the "cheap" sardines once a week to their coat. His health tips are awful!

| Oh wow!!!! His location is Bonham, TX. That’s not far from me at all. Almost an hour away. I’ve been searching for my first furbaby for a while now and it breaks my heart to see those pups on yourpup.com. All I do is shake my head….and wonder how can someone get away with this???????? Just my 2 cents… |

| He gets away with it for many reasons....... 1) People don't know better - they don't do any research about the breed. 2) Many people want "teacups". I can't tell you the number of emails I get from people who are looking for teacups. I try to educate them but all they hear is "blah blah blah". 3) People think the smaller the better. They want an accessory not a puppy. 4) People think the more expensive the puppy the better it is. 5) There is little to no oversight by any agency - government or otherwise - to prevent this establishment from being shut down. 6) He is making money so he is still in business. As long as there are ignorant people out there supporting puppy mills, they will continue to stay in business. I'm in PA only about 40 miles or so from "Puppy Mill Central" which is Lancaster a.k.a. Amish country. I hear the horror stories about puppy mill puppies from my wife who is a vet tech. She sees it every day at work........its so sad.

| And why are most of his pups ACA registered when some are AKC? I read on another thread that the ACA and other associations started so that AKC limited pets could breed..
