| More importantly, if it is a Blue Born the breeder needs to be educated about this condition........I hope it isn't one of them that just know the sperm and egg makes money and to H__ with the rest. But if it is a Blue, and they didn't know, that tells me the answer. At this age that puppy needs a home, one that can accept the responsibility and extra care. They would also need to be able to make the most difficult choice if they needed to. If this is a true Blue Born they should be willing to either keep the puppy and care for it, or place it with a loving person for free and thank God someone is willing to make sure the puppy is cared for. | The eye color thing is true with my pups. My woolie one has red eyes, and my silkie one has green eyes. That is interesting, I always wondered why they had different color eyes. That info on the Blue borns is really scary. I hope you don't have one but if it was me and it turned out to be a blue born, I would take it back to the breeder. You would be risking a lot of heart break if you kept it. I think it would be harder for your child to lose the puppy after they became really bonded. Good luck to you and welcome to Yorkie Talk. After reading this I will carefully research a breeder before I ever get another puppy. Thanks for the information. |

| Thank you for all ur input! I been at the vet all morning! I want to keep my lil baby but i can't mentally take my baby being in pain! My vet said yes, it seems to be a blue born, but she said she have taken care of yorkies that were blue born and they never lost their hair, they lived normal lives! But she did recommend me taking her back to the breeder and request my money back, or at least some of my money. She said 500.00 is to much for the risk i will be taking! I am a school teacher for special needs children, also i have a special needs child. I have 3 other babies that are spolied brats!! I have a chihuahua>14 years old..., border collie>3 years old..., golden retriever> 1 1/5 years old..., all of my babies is gentle. They love each other, i adopted all of them from bad situations, but none of them have any medical problems! I wanta prepare for a lost that we are not ready for! But i am back on a mission to find my daughter a little companion to be hers like our 14 year old (Co-Co)...the border is Lady...the golden is Coby...they have been spay/neutered! | You all is not going to believe the man my husband got my puppy from said ain't nothing wrong with his dog! He is angry! I am taking her to him and I am taking pictures and information that I have gathered! But the most amazing thing is...I got a phone call, a lady called and asked was i looking for a yorkie, she has a yorkie that is 12 weeks old she said her yorkie had 5 puppys and she was going to keep this particular puppy but she decided not to, so she is selling her. (700.00) she said she has the vet records she is all clear of any diease, she is on her heart worm pills and current on her shots, she weighs 2 pounds. she said the mother weighs 4.5 and the father weighs 4pds. what you all think? |

| I am sorry but this man you bought the puppy from doesn't seem to be a responsible breeder.

| A blue born puppy is going to be a heartache. The 12 week puppy sounds like it would be so much better for you in your situation. Good luck and let us know the outcome. |

| Ive read a little about blue born yorkies and it isnt good thats for sure. I am so sad for this little one..I hope he finds a good home and that you can return him. Sounds like the "breeder" is just in it for the $$$..again very sad!! Good luck with the possible new pup! Keep us posted!! Dawn |
