Thank you. The first SOB is actually lucky I let him live! But it had a great outcome. I met my second husband in '85 and we were together 20 wonderful years before he died in Oct '05. It was worth all the hell to have the best years of my life with Mark.

You all need to read "The Sweet Potato Queen's Book of Love" by Jill Conner Browne. It is hilarious! She has a chapter entitled, "Men who may need Killing" Love it! I have some of the same pet issues. After I almost adopted the shelter dog yesterday, he accused me of devoting more time and energy to my dogs than him....I plan on bringing this up again during football season..."honey, it seems you devote more time, energy, love..to football than me..."

| My husband used to hunt and fish all the time when we were first married and the girls were young. I didn't mind too much when he would leave really early in the morning and come back early (before noon) but he started going with my cousins husband all the time and they would be gone all day. I was left alone all day on the weekends and I didn't like it. One Saturday he left early in the morning and didn't get home until 5:00 PM. I went in, put my makeup on, fixed my hair, and put on a knockout new dress I had just bought. He of course said really snotty: "Where do you think you're going" I told him he had been gone for 12 hours leaving me home alone with 2 small children, so now it was my turn. I was leaving for 12 hours and he could stay home with the kids. When he asked me where I was going, I told him I didn't know for sure. I might go shopping, or to a movie, or to the library or go visit his mother, to a bar for a few drinks. I was going to play it by ear. After all, I had 12 hours to kill. Since he was extremely jealous, needless to say, he practically begged me not to go and said he would change his ways. He did. Now that he is retired and we have 24 hour togetherness, except when I'm at work, I wish he had some hobbies that kept him away from home. I love him dearly but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. He loves the furbabies as much as I do. They are so much company for him when I am gone. The other day he said he wished we could get another Yorkie but 4 dogs would be too many. |

| BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | my husband was not very supportive when I 1st started hunting for a york, but I was determined to fine one and I did! when I found Kloey, he said no I couldnt get her cause she was to expensive and I was not working at the time so he said NO! well I ran to mommy and daddy and cried on there shoulder and mom gave it and loaned me the money to get her, I worked for her to pay the money off, well that just ticked my husband off cause I went behind his back to get the money (a woman has got to do what a woman has got to do) so I think from day one he resented Kloey for that fact, then she was hard to train and was pottying in the house, but after time he seen how happy she made me and the love I had for her and he soon fell in love with her as well. When she died, he knew I was just heart broken, he hated seeing me this way and he would have done anything to have saved her, if a vet could have saved her, I would have taken out a $20,000 loan if I had to. He knew I wanted a new baby after Kloey, I was so tore up that I just mooped around the house and was falling apart, He loves Lillie, he will say, "come to daddy Lillie" and he emailed all his friends her pictures, and my husband is a pretty manly man! same as yours, he likes to hunt and fish etc. He joked when I got my charm braclet, the 1st charm I got was a york, he said NO, you didnt get my name, or my birthstone, you had to get a yorkie! YOU BETCHA!!!!!!!! |

I'm sorry for the passing of your second husband, but I guess you learned that quote "Its better to have loved at all, then to never loved" or however that goes. I'm glad you found happiness. Do you by anychance know how the SOB is doing? Has he by any chance gotten married then got cheated on?
