Speaking of camping on her fron tlawn.... My youngestdaughter just stopped by, was going to havwe her & her boyfriend share the driving with me, now they're getting nervous, they are due to report back to college on Thrusday evening, I told her it's only a 3 hour drive back here, then only a 13 hours drive down to Arkasas, so what's the problem.... She wanted me to drive tonight with them, stay outside the shelter until Kim got Cheryl on the phone! I think if we did that, it may backfire on me. I hope Kim calls tomorrow
That will get us all back here in time for the kids to return to college, if not I'll be driving my lonesome until I have his company back home.

We know she has family & a husband, it seems like someone would have answered the recorder. Amber has called & left lots of messages, as did Kim from the shelter and another YT member. Don't you think her husbnad would call someone IF something has happened? I wonder if Mr.Hubby said "NO WAY" to the little boy.

I tried searching her hometown newspapers to see if I could find anything - no luck. Still searching various places (I spend time hunting up old college friends, etc.). I'll let you know if I find out anything.

OK i just got home from my mom's house been there all day and just caught up with all the posts. Dang you guys always get busy when i'm gone LOL! I hope we hear news soon i did call cheryl again an still no word. so it's just sit and wait!!

Checked TV stations and radio station (the ones I could find). I don't know if they work like ours, but around here, if a name has been in the news, you can search for it. But since everything seems to be covered by Dallas, there may be too much coverage area to pick it up. Sorry.

Just did some more searching - found one post on DiscussDogs.com in July. Laney had been missing since March for 4 months and found 40 miles from home. Only post on that site. Still looking. I can't sleep and I am a closet private-eye. LOL Want to add a little class to the name Chancey? How about Chauncey? Heard that name on The Honeymooners one time. Man, I need some sleep.

You're too much Ok I am sooo tired and trying to follow AND I can't sleep either, I was just telling Amber, I got itchy all over, (thinking hives) this waiting has me anxious, bag packed by the door, having an axiety attack over leaving the girls but I thought long & hard and think it is right too. I am worrying over who will bite off the pcs of nectarine, and will they get their tips of the banana. geeze, you would think I was going into labor or something huh.. OK back to the conversation, I thought a lot about the name since I was asked previously and I was thinkign Chancey still but spelt "Chancie" Like me Now what I was trying to follow was your comments oon Laney, that isn't Chancie right? no no you said found, muct not have been.. ok when I first talk to Kim, I thought if he is a biter, that is why no one claimed him but it turned out he's not a biter - he was just scared. We use to be collie resue foster parents, we had a biter, he was screened and it was decided he was to be put to sleep. We worked with him, my mailman at that time worked with us too, he attacked men only. We figured a man abused him, he eventually was depoted by yours truly to a farm in ohio, against orders of collie resue - he did great out there, my girlfriends brother took him, by the time he got him, the only time Buddy would bite him was when he went near his kids - that tells a story. So even if Chancie was a biter, we would have taken him anyway and worked it out. There is always a reason

Yeah, I remember seeing on Meetup.com that one of her babies was lost & then found WAY far away a few months later, thanks to her microchip. I think she searched so hard for that baby, and it finally paid off. That's why I think something is wrong here. I don't think she's just ignoring everyone. But as for finding her name in the TV or radio stations, if something happened, it's not a sure thing it's been reported...Dallas is just too big to report everything. I hope everything is ok. Just a thought....maybe they've had a family emergency & have had to go out of town or something & she hasn't gotten her messages? Not that I'm wishing that, it's just a thought.
