new york newbie hey! im a total newbie i think i made like 2 posts :) but i got my little Baz this weekend from a great lady in Long Island (if anyone is looking in the area, message me for infor) and it is going way better than expected! He is asleep right now in my lap! he already know "kisses" and his name and to come when i clap. *sigh* ok...done bragging.... i do love him though ok about me.... i am a NYU film student who lives in the west village of NYC with my boyfriend. he works in movie collectables. I work as a personal assistant to a producer/ intern with music videos / babysitter to twins. i just moved into my own apartment and Baz makes things much brighter. And he gives me a great excuse not to do homework! :) ~chelsea |
Hi Clare and Shampie I live in a town called Cramlington about 10 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne. Great to hear from another brit too :D |

Welcome fellow Brits, even though I live in Missouri now, we have a Brit community here, 10 of us. I have the only Yorkie in town though. So he rules!!!!!!!!! |

Hi I am a newbie my name is Tammy I live in MInnesota have 5 kids 4 boys and 1 girl my daughter is 24 boys are 17 ,15 ,12 ,6. I do day care in my home . I have 3 beautiful yorkies 2 females and 1 male which the family adores and my day care families dont know what I would do without my precious babies. I have had a couple of litters and totaly enjoyed it and the kids, I bought my yorkies in Iowa as they are alot cheaper and keep in touch with my breeder actually they call me too at least every 3 mths. Have had a few problems here and there wish I would of known about this site a long time ago it is very informational and you are all so helpful with each other ,love that is nice to know you are all here for each other and care so much about other peoples yorkies. My yorkies names are Jackson, Josey and Jewels, Jewels is a little chicken and gets upset easy, Josey is a little fireball and a good watch dog dosent like anyone but the family is a little nippy too, Jackson is a lover and will do anything to please us. but they all act like 2 and 3 yr olds sometimes I have a more busy day with the dogs than the day care kids. Thanks to all who makes this site what it is. I am having a hard time getting pics on here they will download and have attachments then when I make a new thread etc they never come on, frustrating |

newbie Hi Browniesmom I just joined today and already have read some many interesting things. I'm still trying to learn how to manuever around this site, how do I post a question? We have a 14 week old female yorkie(Trixie)that we just pick up a week and half ago. With 3 kids I figured why not add more chaos to my life and that's where Trixie came into our lives. She's adorable but having a hard time potty training her. Tried the potty pads until I found my 16 month old daughter carrying around her poop!!!!! Thanks for calling us newbies out, I was a little intimidated, there so many experts on yorkies here that I didn't want to sound like a moron!!! |
I'm a NEWBIE My name is Amanda and I just got my lil peanut princess in April. I love her to pieces. She is my very first yorkie, and probably not my last. She gave me scare twice w/ her having seizures, which i have found out that she is just a picky eater. Peanut loves to dress up I just have to motify her little outfits to fit her tiny body. I love yorkie talk and i'm so lucky to have found this site w/ everyone cares and helpful. Thanks so much and can't wait to be one here more. Pictures soon will be coming. :animal-sm |

Hi everyone. I'm Cathy (not a lot of imagination here either :p ) 25 years old from Norway living in Milan, Italy. I live here because I am studying at a university called Bocconi. I live here with my boyfriend (which I brought from Norway) and my wonderful puppy Bella. :aimeeyork We got her just over three weeks ago and we love her so much! She is so adorable and she has a great personality. I joined YT the day we got Bella home because she had bad diarrhea, and everyone was so nice and helpful. I really appreciate all the help and information I get from this board. I have never owned a dog before so you can imagine all my stupid questions. (I have done A LOT of searches.) :yorkietal Well that's us... Nice to get to know you all! :teeth: |
Hi my name is Jeanne. I joined I think August of last year but didn't post much. I have 4 grown married kids who all live in this area. ( northern California) I have 4 grand-daughters who are so much fun. I have 4 yorkies...sadie 13 years, cujo 12 years, abby 1 year and sydney 1 year. My dream is to breed someday I've been reading and thinking about it for the last 15 years but never felt I had the time or the money.( had 4 teenagers at the time) When I quit my job to watch one of my grand-daughters my husband suggested I give it a try. Theres so much to learn and this site is great. I realized how great everyone here is when recently I lost little Pepper in a drowning accident and it was shared on this forum. Everyone here were so nice...no-one knew me but when it comes to loosing one of our babies I could feel how much you all shared my pain. Thank-goodness for yorkie-chat sites...we all have something in common we LOVE our yorkies! |
