| Congratulations to you & Lillie for such a big family. It was very exciting for me. I felt like I had my first litter. How much (in lbs, please) did Lillie & dad weigh before pregnancy? How big are the puppies? Did you only lose the one? I know you are probably asleep by now but don't forget us. We're all like anxious new moms now. |

| Me and Lillie would just like to thank all of you for your nice comments, thoughts, support and interest in her delivery of her special babies, there absolutley beautiful and Lillie has taken to motherhood like a duck does to water lol She ended up with 7 babies 5 girls and 2 boys but like you all know unfortunetly one of the girls was a stillborn and i couldnt revive her, i feel so sad about it but in a way im relieved for Lillie because her litter was so big dont think her bellys big enough to have 7 suckleing her lol. We thought there was a no7 pup coming but after waiting 2 hrs after her last one was born i thought id got it wrong she had no6 at 3.45am so at 5.45am i cleaned lillie up put her clean bedding in and laid on sofa to try and get bit of kip i was exausted 2nites up lol.At 6.30 i heard Lillie drinking and thought she,d got out of bed for a drink i went to check she was ok and there was no7 a baby girl, I am so proud of her, I didnt get round to weighing them and now shes bonding and doing a great job so sorry i cant tell you any weights, Ive taken some fotos and i,ll try to put them on, Thankyou all again for all your support i was so nervous and you all made me feel more at ease. RIP ROSIE WE LOVE YOU XXXXXXXX |

| Awe... I'm so sorry you lost one. You had lots of girls with that litter! Are you giving the bitch anything with extra calcium in it? That's a large litter to be nursing. I give mine 1/3 C. of Esbilac twice a day for the first week after delivery. Then I cut back to once a day the 2nd week. (I also give it to them 1 week prior to delivery too.)

| Take the babies with her! If I have to take one of mine to the vet, they all go. When I take the babies to get their tails done, Mom goes too. Is it telling you that the files are too big for the pics?

| Give 1/2 of a tums in the morning and 1/2 tums at night. My Tinkerbell's mother had 8 puppies and got eclampsia. It was life threatening and very scary. All of the pups had to be bottle fed. It's very important to supplement her calcium. If you type in eclampsia in the search engine on this site, you will find a wealth of information regarding how to feed her.
