I cannot help but respond...... :o :o I have bit my tongue a few times when "newbies" come here and ask questions., ask questions......ask for help.....only to get a reponse that is less than positive.... This site is to educate and discuss what we all can do for the breed. When you post a response.....read it two or three times.....and read it like it was written to you...instead of visa versa....before you press the submit button. I know sometimes we all get in a hurry to respond.....but, ...we are here to help......and none of us was born knowing everything..... (except my Mom of course, LOL) This is not meant to offend anyone.....just a little reminder.... |

the mom will most likely open the sac on her own, but, there are cases that she wont . here is a good page http://www.debbiejensen.com/whelping.html keep your vets number close just in case |

I have to agree with you on this one. Sometimes people get scared off to ask questions...afraid they'll get harrassed. This is a perfect example of that situation. Glad someone could offer some help and advice. :D |
Much appreciated.... Quote:

That's exactly the way I feel. We either learn from others or from our own mistakes. :D |

There are even great whelping videos out there to purchase of actual births. Although I realize its getting to late. Try to relax (I know first hand its better said than done!) and I wish you the best for you and your baby! |
Do you have a vet or experience breeder near you that could help with this whelp while you watch? |
