Sweetie what you are doing is being a guardian angel to a little baby in need. Your brother should commend you for your generous and selfless behavior. I'm sorry you're not getting the support you need. But we're all here for you and I think what you're doing is amazing.

tell him what if someone did that to you when you were alittle helpless baby ? they really should try and look at things through their eyes not just say whatever how rude!

Tell your brother it's the same reason they didn't let him go to babyland when he was born. I just never understood people who don't love animals; seems to me there's something wrong with them. Good luck and keep us posted on the baby's progress.

Alot of our friends and family don't understand the money we have into our little girls either. Misha just got her 2nd ear infection. Needless to say, the week after she got back from our ex groomer. Another Vet visit. A friend said (between Misha & Piper going to the Vet all the time I don't know why you don't get rid of them. You never want to go out anymore, & I can't imagine what you must be spending on them.) I told her I can't imagine what she must be spending going to clubs everynight, & I don't care & for her to do the same.

I feel for you and I know how you feel.

Because we breed Yorkies and have other animals in our home, my father won't visit us. He won't even come over and sit outside for a party even if I promise to keep the animals in the house rather than let them run the yard.
My sister has stopped once or twice in the past year and that was only to pick my nephew who was visiting the puppies. My brother has only been over once in the past year and he won't even come in the house. Sad thing is they only live about 5 to 10 miles away.

So my entire family is more or less the same way. I feel sad for them. They don't know what they are missing. My grandfather was an animal lover so I must get it from him.

WOW! Its sad isn't it. Some people just don't get it. They are "our" life and "kids". To them...just a DOG.
My family hasn't pulled that yet BUT if we have a get together, I automaticly put the dogs in another room. WHY? I actually do it so their kids won't bother my "kids"! ha -ha. And they think I'm being conciderate of them! HA!
I do give my mom credit though....she's not an animal person but she did help me with my little cleft baby for 2 weeks when I had to go back to work. And you know what??? I know for a fact she got attached because she had to come over just to see her, after they went away for a weekend. So maybe there's hope.....but not for my brother!

Wow, that's pretty extreme and awful of him to say that! What if you had a special needs human child - I doubt he'd say something like that then. Some people just don't get it

He has 3 kids (my niece, and 2 nephews) whom I love dearly.....

I did say to him...so if one of your kids get sick, are you going to put them to sleep?

Brothers are such a pain! But if mine ever said something like that to mean I would kick his a$$! I love my puppy more than I love any of my family, sadly because they also don't support my love for animals (which makes me furious) Well, at least at times like these you know you have a little yorkie who will always love you no matter what
