My furkids Donating Member | Yorkie left tied out last week with out water!! My daughter lives on a lake with her bf. They just got new neighbors who just happen to own a yorkie . Anyway my daughter told me today that last week her bf's parents went to their house to use the lake because of that horrible hot humid weather we had...The people next door had tied their dog outside WITHOUT WATER!!! Bf's Mom brought over a dish of cold water...Then my daughter proceded to tell me that when her sister brought her home from work one night the puppy was loose! My daughter almost ran over him..My youngest daughter (23) brought the pup into their house and let him run around and play for a bit before she brought him back home..She brought him back to his owner and told him that the puppy was running around loose!! The owner told her that the dog is a pain in the a**. I told her to ask them if they want to get rid of him, that I would take him. My daughter would love to have him but her and her bf's work schedule would leave him alone too much. I also told her that if they don't want to get rid of him but notice they are abusing him or letting him run free to steal him!! Yes... I said steal him and bring him to me....I am sure I could find a good home for him...I would keep him myself but I have Sadie who is 1 1/2 yrs old and a new furbaby coming Saturday...I just wouldn't be able to afford to keep 3 at this time...I will keep you all updated as I may be posting a FREE YORKIE!!

| It makes me soooo mad to see people who treat animals like trash. I would def. steal the dog as well. If they let it run loose and not give it fresh cold water on a hot day...then they dont deserve the dog anyways...IMO

| grrrrrrrrr how can anyone not give a dog water in the heat we've been having??? That makes me so mad! If the dog is such a pain, they should let him/her go to a new home. That's so sad. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | That poor dog ! I don't understand people at all. There is a few things you can do - report them for leaving him outside with no water ....or maybe be on the lookout in case he 'accidentally' gets loose again ....but it sure doesn't sound like a good situation for the little guy that's horrible to leave any dog without water... EVER. |

| I would like to leave THOSE people tied out in a hot yard with no water! I was so mad when I saw a Yorkie left in a car at wal-mart the other day. YOU CANNOT LEAVE A DOG IN 98 DEGREE HEAT IN A CAR FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME!!!!! I swear some people should not own dogs...or any animals for that matter!

| That is so sad and is downright ABUSE. I cannot stand it when people hurt innocent animals who haven't done a thing wrong. You should report them ASAP to the police for animal abuse. Something isn't right. |

| RAWR! People like that are such @&#^@*#^*!&(#$&*'s!!! My neighbors are the same way and now they have what looks like a 12 wks or so old chow chow puppy tied on a chain, no water, no food, no shade.. *#@$#&@&$^#& Oh and I totally support your stealing tactics. Especially if they are AWFUL enough to let that poor baby loose and keep him tied up he DEFINATELY deserves to be stolen.. aka RESCUED!!! Good luck! Keep us updated!

| Oh that is so horrible! Poor baby. Congratulations on having such a caring daughter! I'd def call the ACO and let them know the situation - even a week later. It can't hurt to keep them on alert about the situation. |

| I think I would have first kindly asked if they would like to found a good home for him and then offer to take it (or pay for it). If nothing, I would then turn them in for animal abuse and cruelty. That is just plain horrible! I can't stand to be out there when it is this hot, let alone, be out there against my will and without water! I had taken my grandmother to run her errands the other day and we were in a store when a lady shouted "whoever drives a little red truck, your dog is dying out there". Soon, I heard a lady say, "he has water and I am getting ready to go turn the truck back on". What are people thinking??! Could they sit out there with the windows rolled up, on the hot pavement, when the temp is 99 and the humidity makes it feel like 105?? So horrible! Sometimes, people make me so angry!
