| Good for you. Poor little yorkie! If they don't give him water, then they probably don't feed him, either.

| I feel bad for the little puppy too! I'm sure if it's a lake house, the landscape may not provide for fencing and it's probably a seasonal home anyway, maybe that's why the dog didn't have "things" like water, house, food. No excuse obviously, let's just hope the people treat it better at home. I'd go talk to the lady if she said the dog was a pain in the butt, you don't want the fact that you "stole" a dog following you around. I'd just ask her outright if she wanted to get rid of it and you'd find it a good home. I wouldn't mention anything about money either. If the dog is a pain in her butt, she should be happy to have someone else offer to take it off her hands. |

| Poor little fella! I don't understand people. I have a new friend who we built a house for. Along the process, she talked about her laspo aspo (sp?) & that she was having trouble potty training it. When we closed on the house & they started to move in.....no dog. I kept asking her where it was & she said still at the old house. I lectured her, of course, & relentlessly kept asking her when she was going to bring it over & saying the poor guy must be so lonely & it must be a pain to have to drive over to the old house constantly. Well, I didn't realize that when it was at the old house it was actually tied up outside. It is very hot here.....100 with the heat index making it feel like 120. Ultimately, while she was at the old house, she was approached by a laspo aspo rescue person & she did surrender the dog. |

| What they did was wrong but stealing him from them is just as wrong. You're best line of defense with these people is education. Beyond that if you see actual abuse you should report them...other than that there's nothing you can do. |

| Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | I would ask them if they want to get rid of him and then see if you can find a good home that poor dog the nerve of some people. try to get some evidence if you turn them in because they usually don't do anything unless the dog is in very poor health or they are called a lot about them. Please keep us updated!! Good luck

| I say rescue the little guy, he deserves a good loving home that at the very least provides cool water on a hot day! Some people just make me sick. |
