I am so sorry.......that brought tears to my eyes as I read it. You are a good person, you show that with the love in your post about your yorkie....thank GOD you pushed her out the way....I hate you got hit, but that could have killed her and you if it would have it you in certain places. All, I can say is anyone who acts like that is so miserable with themselves. I hope you are ok and never let people like that change who you are and what you have to offer the world.

Jhordan, I am sickened by what happened to you...and so grateful for the strength of you & your mother. It is a shame that some choose violence as a way to prove their ignorance. Unfortunately, many are victims of such ignorance, whether it's because of the color of our skin, our clothing size, the mate we choose, etc...and I truly believe it is through your strength & beauty that we all can overcome prejudice.

Thank You, WhimsicalDaisy . I wish everyone would overcome prejudice. But some people think its still funny going called people words against there people's culture. Its just plain stupidity!

I am so sorry you had to go through that, I can't believe that in this day and age that stuff still goes on. Some people are so ignorant!!!! It sounds like you have a wonderful Mom , I wish those people had a mom like yours, maybe they would not have acted like they did. Hold your head up high and be proud of who you are!!! Thanks, Shelbies Heart... I never knew you lived in Kentucky. I used to live there as young. My parents were in the army at the time. Now there retired in there LATE thirties...LOL

WHY are people so freaking ignorant?! I don't understand things like this. I cannot begin to imagine being treated that way and have to deal with things like that.

People like that are just stupid.

Good for you though-you are such a caring, unselfish person. Getting in the way of the rock and getting your little one out of the way-there needs to be more people in the world like you. Hang in there, kiddo. We all care about you here!

OMG!! Are you serious????????????? How awful! I am sooooo sorry. I try not to be hateful, but there are so many bad people. I think black people are so beautiful, I don't know why people are so hateful and ugly. I am caucasion, but there are black, hispanic, asian and indian people in my family.
When are people going to teach their children that racism is wrong???? I am so perplexed there can be people like that. I just think how sad that their hearts are so ugly.
I am so sorry and I hope you are ok!!!!!

Please know that not everybody is like that!!!

I also wanted to say what a boring world if we were all the same color and all looked the same.

I'm so sorry you that happened to you! Those creeps were most likely bigger than you and more of them, and were also in a vehicle when they shouted and threw the rock. As far as I'm concerned, they were a bunch of cowards and wimps and out and about looking for trouble and if they can't find it, they'll create it. Really ticks me off! My grandson's are part Black and my grandson was called the "N" word at school the other day and was very hurt by that. I guess this sort of thing happens all to often anymore and for the life of me, I can't understand why people have to be so hateful.

Anyway, best wishes to you and bless your heart for being forgiving...I know that's what we're supposed to do, but it isn't always easy! I'm sorry about your arm, but glad you saved your little puppy from harm! Hugs to you!

I'm so sorry that some people are so stupid. Some people will never change ... I'm hispanic and at my husband's old job the owner used to tell jokes about Dominicans and my husband didnt care if he was the owner or not. He told him in front of everyone " You know my wife is from Dominican Republic don't you, so your joke is not funny to me.You could hear a pin drop when he said that!

We love you! I think that is terrible! Once when I was off at school, many years ago, a group of rednecks chose to yell at me that I was fat! I cried so much! Those people are pathetic that did that to you! There is idiotic prejudice all over the place and it doesn't make any sense! Just know that you are better than they are because you're a sweet loving person!

I couldn't agree more with what everyone else has said in response to this horrible incident! Unfortunately, as Harbinger said, people are seriously flawed and there is no way to eliminate eveil from our world, but we can continue to learn and not our own hearts be hardened by the ignorance of others! I wish you could prosecute them for their actions. They need to not continue to get away with this type of behavior so it doesn't happent to others. They need some consequences for their actions! In the end, everyone suffers their consequences for the wrongs they have perpetrated. Those people are carrying some real bad Karma and it will come back on them later.
