I Am So Mad! Since today is Baby Jane's birthday. I decided to that we'd take a jog in the neiborhood(sp). And to get my parents a rest. So Baby and I were walking and we met fews dogs along the way. After they were out of site. A pick-up truck zooms by from behind us and two men were in the car and three men were in the back. The one of the men from the back yelled " Fu***** N*****!" and threw a large rock at us. It almost hit Jane in the head but I push her and it hit me instead. I got a good bruise too. I picked up Jane and ran home. And told my parents. I started crying and was very upset. Why do people have to be so mean? :cry: |
Its unbelievable the ignorance of people. I am spanish but i guess I dont look it, you would be suprised at the comments I hear when people dont realize I am spanish. You should see the look on thier faces when I tell them in a somewhat abrupt way that I am spanish and would appreciate if they would keep thier assinine predjudiced views to themsleves :D . Im pretty brave when I have a 1o5lb. shepherd and a husband who is 6'6" by me lol. I am so sorry you had to go through that but dont let ignorant people like that get to you. Just hold your head high and know that not everyone has those views anymore. sue :animal-sm |

I'm sorry you had to go through that. People can be ignorant. I would still call the police department or have your parents call and report the vehicle. Even though you don't have the license plate number you can still describe the vehicle and the guys inside. I assume they were high school age, but I could be wrong there are some adults that act like idiots too. :rolleyes: What a bunch of morons. |

But the thing that gets to me is that they said. I mean many people have said it to me as if joking but I really don't think its funny. I would never disrespect anyone's culture. Wow, I'm so sorry you had to endure that kind of racism. To be honest people are bad a whole lot of the time. People are the worst thing to ever happen to this planet but mother nature will win in the end, she always does. That's part of the reason I love animals so much. Yes, please report the incident to the police. It may not help you in this case but race crimes are reported and it's important that the community have them on record so then maybe the politicians will do something about it. |
Im SO sorry about what happened..some people are SO mean and to think that they will pass this crap onto their kids and so on.Its awful to think that in this day and age there are STILL people like this..I just dont understand it! I know what its like though..Im english but liv in spain and I have to put up with dirty looks and stupid comments daily.My husband is spanish and I have to hear thing like "this stupid foreigner comes along and takes one of OUR men" or "The english are dirty..stupid,huligans,sluts.." etc etc.Anyone would think Im from another planet sometimes!:mad: It used to bother me but it doesnt any more,I think its pathetic when grown ups are shallow enough to judge people by where they´re from or the colour of their skin...they are the ones losing out;) |
WOW! I can't believe that! How can anyone be so nasty? We are all God's children, and He loves us no matter what color, race, etc. I am really sorry you had to go through that! As a white American, I am ashamed of what we did to the black race, and also what we did to the Native Americans. I could hang my head in shame whenever I run across either race. What the heck were our forefathers thinking? They must have been out of their minds. Anyway, that's the way I feel. Please don't think everyone is like that, just the ignorant ones! Pat |

Thanks. I have cooled down alittle. I have forgiven those guys but I WILL NOT forget them. My mom said that everyday brings new tests and chanllges(sp) that you have to pass on to the next day. Plus you have to forgive but not forget. And remember of what you are and who you are and don't be ashamed of it. When my mom told me that I thought it was very deep and very true too. |
