Jhordan, I am sickened by what happened to you...and so grateful for the strength of you & your mother. It is a shame that some choose violence as a way to prove their ignorance. Unfortunately, many are victims of such ignorance, whether it's because of the color of our skin, our clothing size, the mate we choose, etc...and I truly believe it is through your strength & beauty that we all can overcome prejudice.
