| I don't know where in CA you are, but when I lived in San Diego, we had FLEAS galore!! The vet suggested I try "Program". It worked great. Where I live now, we don't have the flea problem. All we have here are sand fleas and they don't stay on the dogs like regular fleas do. I never had any luck with the over-the-counter things they have. Good luck!! Suz

| In the short run, you can give him a bath in Dawn dishwashing soap to kill the fleas - just be sure to rinse him thoroughly because it will dry out his skin if you don't. Do you have your own yard? If so, you can use beneficial nematodes to kill the fleas in the yard. Nematodes are microscopic organisms that eat flea eggs (and fire ant and grub eggs). It is natural and completely harmless to the babies. It won't keep your baby from getting an occasional flea from walks - but I've used nematodes for years and rarely have to use advantage or anything like that - unless we travel. If you or anyone are interested in beneficial nematodes, just google it - or let me know and I can post the specifics. They really do work like a charm!

| I paid $81.78 for both dogs for 6 months. We use revolution. I got my at Petmeds.com I told them I found it cheaper on another site than what they offered. They honored that price plus $5bucks off & free shipping. You do need a prescription for it. |
