| How much sun is too much sun? HI, I want to take my 10 month old pup with me on vacation (weekedn get away). We will be spending a lot of time on the beach and I was wondering if that would be too much for him. Alot of bike riding with him as well. Would bringing a beach umbrella and keeping him in the shade help?

| Is there anyway that you can just leave him in the room while you are on the beach and outside and just check on him periodlically?? I think it is just toooooo hot for these little guys to be out in the sun for any period of time. That's exciting that you get to take him, though! |

| Just watch the temperatures. If you are at the beach and there is a nice breeze with temps in the high 70's, you will be able to tell when he is getting tired or hot. Make sure you have lots of water with him (keeping Nutrical handy is probably a good idea as well). Bike riding would be cooler, depending on how you are going to transport him. If he is riding in a snuggly strapped to you, he will get some of your body heat and the heat of the bag as well. So remember if you are hot, chances are he is too.
