I agree with RLC..If you could leave him in the room that would be alot better for the pup as they can dehydrate easily...Also yorkies don't like alot of heat....or cold for that fact. I tood Sadie to the beach on our vaca but not for long..of course I brought water but she was panting too much so I left.
