| Has anyone ever seen a red yorkie? Hey, I was wondering is anyone has ever seen a red yorkie before? My female had 3 puppies last month. Two of them are regular black and gold but one is solid red all over. I Googled to see if I could find any like her but all I found were chocolates with liver noses and her nose is black. I know for a fact that she isnt mixed along the line. Let me know what ya'll think. And sorry about the bad picture!! It's harder than it looks |

| She sure is cute. Both parent must carry that recessive gene. If you mated the same two again you'd probably get another one. There probably isn't too much information out there on them because it would be considered an undesireable trait. In the past, and perhaps even some breeders today would have culled it when it was born. They probably would not have wanted anyone to even know about it, especially if it happened in their champion line. Are you planning to keep her? If you plan to sell her, please let me know. |

| Such a beautiful color. I've never seen anything like it before! Almost strawberry blonde. Looks just like the color of my daughters hair! They are just too cute!

| What a beautiful color. My two gave birth to 4 normal color babies and one chocolate. We kept her and she is a doll baby. Your babies are gorgeous!!

| I sure am glad to see that you all think she is as pretty as I do. We havent decided if we're going to keep her or not yet. Even though we have enough Im still tempted to keep her. I do plan to sell the others but I really wasnt sure what would be a reasonable amount to ask for her. I dont know if people will think its undesirable or just special. What would you ask for her? Thanks for all the positive replies so far. |

I don't think iit is done any more. Now they would just spay/neuter and sell them as pets. But breeders in the past wsould not want anyone to know thst their champion dog had sired a puppy that didn't meet with the standards. It would have severly damaged the reputation of their kennel. | |
