| this is a chocolate Yorkie and not at all desireable. The parents that produced this pup should not be bred again to each other. You can breed your bitch to a different male if you want to but both parents are carriers for this gene. Remember the breed standard for the Yorkie, chocolate is not in that standard. If you keep her have her spayed and enjoy her as a pet. A reputable breeder if they decided not to keep her as their own spayed pet, would either give her to a good friend or relative that wanted her, spayed of course, never to be bred or if you want to sell her do so at a much reduced price being sure she won't be bred. No, reputable breeders don't drown them, they don't have them put down, they do revamp their breeding program to make darn sure it never happens again and would never sell them for big bucks as 'rare'. |
