And that is probably the way it is for most breeders. Plus you have no idea if the person that you sold it to is even the person that it is going to end up with. You just have to hope that you made a good choice. One thing with the prices we pay for these guys, most people are going to make sure they are taken care off. One benefit of breeding expensive dogs. BTW I love your avatar

This may come off sounding harsh, but why would a reputable breeder sell their puppies to a pet store? I don't believe that any breeder, who actually cared about the welfare of their puppies would do so. That statement clearly indicates that you beleive that the breeder was not a reputable breeder, after she stated that that they were. So it sounded to me like you thought she was not telling the truth.

Yes, our breeder did in fact come to our house. She knows our vet. She also spent several hours talking to us. She watched how we interacted with all of her dogs when we were at her house. Coincidentally, we are moving to the same street she lives on, on Friday. We still talk. I am quite sure our breeder knows for a fact that Mia came to a loving home. If she has any doubts, she can look out the window during one of our walks and see how pampered Mia is.

Your comment clearly didn't make sense.. esp. since I don't want SnowWa to think I didn't believe her. But to be back on topic, autism mommy, I hope you hear back from them soon.

| Ok I got a response fast actually. It did say there were no bad reports with the pet store or her. but I will aszsume shes a mill becouse get ready for this in 2004 her last inspection she had 125 adult dogs and 30 puppies. I swear if I lived by her I would sneak and let them all out. it depresses me. I guess why my dog was mean huh? Well can any of them turn out to be good dogs? How can someone care for that many dogs? well I know they cant then how would they pass an inspection??

| i had a friend that worked at pet land for awhile....they do get their puppies from "brokers" however a vet checks them before anyone is allowed to see them....any dogs that are "too bad" are sent back and when you purchase of dog you get a list of anything that is wrong or could potentially be a problem (like bad knees, respitory problems etc etc...) ...im not trying to condone or do i agree with buying babies from pet stores....just thought id let everyone know
