Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Check out this post for the car seat. You won't find it any cheaper anywhere. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46693 Jill rides in her lookout carseat that secures to the back seat. They wear a harness and are attached with a strap. Your little one is very tiny and you will need to have a custom made harness perhaps. Check out chattiesmom on the YT Item for Sale Forum because she makes custom made step in harnesses. Jill is wearing one in my avitar photo. Jill was 1.8 lbs at 12 weeks and now she is 3.7 at 6 months. They are such fun watching them grow! I would strongly suggest an exercise pen as well. It would work great for securing your little one while you are camping. When ordering on ebay though pay attention to the shippping charges. Hope this helps you.

The carseats have a harness that keeps the pup from jumping out - or it has a strap that attaches to the pups harness. Yes, she will jump out if not attached - it also keeps her safe in case of an accident I definitely wouldn't get the wicker bed for a year or so - the chewing stage can go on for a bit. I've not used one, but they are pretty.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Jill has had a pretty white wicker bed since she was 12 weeks old and we brought her home and she hasn't touched it except to snuggle up in it.

| Thanks, That car seat looks neat. It says it sits on the console between the 2 front seats and I would like that. Will it also fasten onto the back seat?? OK X Pen shopping I will go!! I looked on ebay but so many just say exercise pen - Is x pen a brand name or just a shortening for exercise pen. Is there one brand that is better than the others?? I know I'm full of questions- thanks for being so patient and helpful all of you. I will get the wicker bed and try her from time to time to see if she chews on it. I am retired so I watch her pretty close and if I am gone, I will put her in the crate with the Walmart bed which She likes just fine. Its me that wants the pretty bed!! As for harnesses, collars & leashes, I've already bought 3 at the store and ordered 2 more from ebay. The dog has more changes of apparel than I do! But then again, she looks better in hers as well! Wouldn't it be better to buy the x pens at Pet Smart or something since the shipping is so high or are they that much higher in the stores?? OK I'll let you all rest right now, I'm trying to be able to remember which one of you is which - just give me a little time, I'll get there. Thanks again, Donna |
