Jill rides in her lookout carseat that secures to the back seat. They wear a harness and are attached with a strap. Your little one is very tiny and you will need to have a custom made harness perhaps. Check out chattiesmom on the YT Item for Sale Forum because she makes custom made step in harnesses. Jill is wearing one in my avitar photo.
Jill was 1.8 lbs at 12 weeks and now she is 3.7 at 6 months. They are such fun watching them grow!
I would strongly suggest an exercise pen as well. It would work great for securing your little one while you are camping. When ordering on ebay though pay attention to the shippping charges.
