What did you do with your pup the first day they came home ?

I wouldn't take her anywhere with you as much as you'll be tempted until she's had her first two sets of shots. Up till then she's very vulnerable to disease.

We had an hour & 1/2 drive to get Max...he was soooooooo carsick! He threw up all the way home. So, he had his 1st bath immediately. He ate like a champion after his bath, and then we all sat on the living room floor & watched him as he made his way from one to the other of us...it was a beautiful day! (minus the carsickness, of course).

We stayed up late the night before crawling around the house to make sure we had puppy proofed well.We borrowed a baby gate because I was afraid she might fall down the stairs. We wrapped up computer wires vaccumed like crazy ect. We brought Mya home and could not take our eyes off of her. We played with her offered her food and water and watched her snuggle up to our dog Comic for a nap. She explored some more when she woke up and played with her new toys.
I put her cage beside my bed where my other dog sleeps. She woke up at 4 am to go pee. I put her on a pee pad and said "Hurry up" and she went. She then pooped on the floor...that is when I learned about two pee pads, one for pee one for poop. I put her back in the cage and she woke up again at 7am. Again I put her on pads and then took her in bed with me for an hour before hubby got home from work and he snached her away to play with her.
