We stayed up late the night before crawling around the house to make sure we had puppy proofed well.We borrowed a baby gate because I was afraid she might fall down the stairs. We wrapped up computer wires vaccumed like crazy ect. We brought Mya home and could not take our eyes off of her. We played with her offered her food and water and watched her snuggle up to our dog Comic for a nap. She explored some more when she woke up and played with her new toys.
I put her cage beside my bed where my other dog sleeps. She woke up at 4 am to go pee. I put her on a pee pad and said "Hurry up" and she went. She then pooped on the floor...that is when I learned about two pee pads, one for pee one for poop. I put her back in the cage and she woke up again at 7am. Again I put her on pads and then took her in bed with me for an hour before hubby got home from work and he snached her away to play with her. |
