i know that people have taken the pups in teh bathroom with a pee pad to try and get they to go on the plane. That is, if the steward doesn't yell at you for taking your yorkie out from under the seat.

| I have traveled with my little poodle before and the best advice I can give you is to have bottled water with you and a small container your pup can drink out of and also a bit of dry food. When you have a layover if you can't get outdoors with him take him to the rest room in a large stall and offer him the pee pad and a drink and spend a few minutes with him, people might think you are weird but so what? Its important you reassure this little one. I kept my dog out of the carrier until time to board the plane, he was content to sit with me and then when they called to board I placed him in his carrier. Thus keeping his time in the carrier to a minimum. It is also a good idea to have a pea pad in the bottom of the carrier. I didn't have a problem with any accidents but its a good idea just in case. Hope this helps, I am sure other more well seasoned travelers will have advice for you too. Have a safe trip and God Bless you and your little one.

| How old is your Yorkie? They can hold on for many, many hours without a problem. During the transit time maybe you can ask if you can go outside with your puppy to let him potty. When in the cabin you can ask the flight attendant if you can have your baby on your lab. Take some water from home and a little bowl with you. Have a nice and smooth journey and let us know how it went! |

| I took a stroller which make it better traveling through long terminals. They check the stroller as you board the plane and have it ready when you depart or with us in one case let us put in the over head compartment. Use a cheep umbrella stroller that you can find at Walmart and take the seat out then put the carrier in it. I kept Mya up late the night before. She would pee on her pee pad in the bathroom. I had to force her drink by dipping my fingers in water then touching her mouth. She at a bit of bread, but refused her dog food. When I could like traveling in long hallway with not much people around I let her walk on her leash for a break. She would not pee on a patch of grass out side the terminal. Yes she held it for 15 hours. I guess she was just too usure about what was going on around her. I let her stick her head out in the departure lounge and pat her and others did too. I zipped her up on the flights and she slept through take offs and landings !!! People said they had no idea a dog was on board the plane. I couple of times I took her to secluded part of the airport and just let her be out of her travel bag. It was a really good experience for us. Oh and of course you have to take the dog out of the carrier so they can xray the carrier. I am sure you will be fine.
