| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yikes! Ruby's first grooming appointment is tomorrow, but after seeing this, I am a little nervous, thinking maybe she can wait a little longer. I did go to two different recommended groomers (surprise visit) to check their facilities and show them Ruby's hair and it's length at that time ( three weeks ago) I would like her hair kept at this length and would be upset if she comes back shaved. it's funny I am more adventurous with my own hair, but don't mess with my girl, ya know? |

I deliberately shaved my Biewer Yorkie exactly like that a few months ago. Now his hair is growing out beautifully - and it's actually helped his coloring come in stronger! Here are before and after pictures for you to compare - picture of Matthias with full length hair, picture of Matthias right after I shaved him in March, and picture of Matthias that I took yesterday.

| well, it only took three months for his hair to grow out this much so it's really not that bad. I posted the pictures to show how much hair growth happens in just three months. I guess what I'm saying is hang in there, cause the hair will grow back in good time. In the meantime.... BAT-DOG!

| I know this may sound crazy but are you sure you picked up the right dog? One of his ears in the before pictures are floppy. In the after pictures they are both standing up straight. I didn't know if the pictures were taken right before the trip to the groomers or when he was a baby. Either way he is still cute. His hair should grow back in no time. Michelle |

| I can feel your pain!! The groomer that I took Lexie to the 1st time shaved her bald as well. It is unbelievable! I was absolutely HORRIFIED when I went to pick her up. She was only 4 mos old and it was in the middle of winter. Who knows what the heck she was thinking??!!! It took me a while but I finally found a GREAT groomer- she is FANTASTIC!! There are great groomers out there. Talk to people you know that have long haired breeds. It took about a month for Lexie to start growing her hair back. Now 6 mos later, her coat is now long. Good luck to you!
