| Leaving for the weekend....Where to keep Kiwi? I have a few options. Keep in mind Kiwi was abused until 3months when I bought her, so she had extremely bad seperation anxiety. I also love this little thing to death, she's like my little daughter. Basically I'm scared she'll run away! My friends tell me that when they babysit her she just waits by the door for me...What if she sneaks outside? I'd either have my brother's girlfriend babysit her or my ex-girlfriend -- both are kinda irrational. I won't to put her in the kennel.... Does anyone know of reliable babysitter near San Diego? I'd pay! |

| Have you considered a doggie daycare? They usually have indoor and outdoor runs and lots of things for them to do. We have one near us and it is great

| i know how you feel ive never left mine before and ive had them over 12 years, but im planing on going away for the weekend next month and im already worring who to leave them with, my sister is really the only one i can get to look after them but shes a bit scatter brained and im worried they will run out the front door so ive ordered a baby gate to go on front of the front door so if she forgets to put the dogs in another room when she opens the front door they will still be safe and wont be able to get out. if your worried they will get out do the same thing

| Where do you live? I don't know where you are from your zip code, but I'm in 92345. If you're close, let me know. Suz I just re-read your post. You're in San Diego? Depending on where you're going, I might be on the way!

| I actually LIVE in Riverside! Sadly I don't know if my parents would agree on babysitting a puppy.. I'll check for you, though.

| i'll fly up and baby sit for you! wish i could! these poor lil doggies will wear themselves out looking for their parents! i did see one at a doggie daycare scratching and barking at the door trying to get out till he was "sweating" panting poor little guy. i hope you can get a good solution. maybe leave a tshirt or something with your scent to help calm a little bit. |

| when do you need a baby sitter? I'm in San Diego (San Marcos to be exact)...but if it's this father's day weekend, I'll be out of town as well and taking our two yorkies with us...if you never need a sitter some other weekend, contact me, and my husband and I would be more than happy to take her at no charge at all. Btw, do you ever attend the san diego yorkie meet up?
