| need hints on xpen liner.YORKIE eats all!!! hello guys! I have 2 types of x pens. one is like a play pen and the other is a yard. my problem is with the playpen style..i need a covering that he wont eat, chew ,play with or hide under. He shreds newspaper. he chews and hides under towels and rugs.It came with a padded mat, but i took it up because it was too lumpy and his water dishy was sloshing about. Now i just have the removable liner...but even though I sprayed it with Natures miracle and bitter apple..seperate occasions ..he still sometimes chews after it..I would like somethign soft.but something he won't eat. I thought of linolium(sp) but he could still chew at the edges... PLEASE HELP!! yes he has chew toys and i redirect and correct..but i cant watch him 24/7...i do need to bath and what not.

| Can you get something that is large enough that the edges are actually on the outside of the pen, I don't know if they are held down with stakes or something? If so the linolium might work or you can look into getting a tarp. Some of them are pretty sturdy and I'm thinking that maybe if the edges are on the outside he won't be so apt to chew on it no matter what it is.

| We always use a heavy duty, clear shower curtain ... trim or fold under if it's too large. We put the covering down and set the X-pen on top of it, letting about an inch stick out all the way around. We have never, ever had a problem with Toto bothering it. We also use a pad frame for her wee wee pads and she has never bothered them either. It works beautifully for us ... good luck!!

| I Guess I Wasnt Clear Enough..the Problem Is With The Playpen Type Pen..i Dont Think I Can Have Anything Sticking Underneath Because Of How Its Constructed..just Think Of A Playpen..so I Need A Suggestion Of Something That Can Fit Inside Snuggly Enough So That He Cant Eat The Edges. The Play Yard(northstate Brand) Sits On Top Of A Cardboard And I Have A Blanket Over That So No Problem There. Thanks For Responding Anyway. See Pics Of Pen I Am Referring To Below,.

| Hi! I have a large plastic playpen (from Target.com)- do a search for "pet playpen" . It is tan and brown. I use a computer chair plastic mat under it. The mat is large enough to cover the entire playpen area so that no edges are sticking out for her to chew on. It has worked out WONDERFUL!! It is the perfect size!! I have her litter box, bed , toys and water dish in it.
