I paid $1000 for my Lily in western CO from a small breeder. She is eligible for AKC registration - I probably won't get the papers though, don't plan on breeding her. She is definitely worth every penny!!! :p |

$0, and he came with AKC papers, all shots, a collar, a leash and a name that I liked. I would never dish out more than $400 for a dog. Screw that! |
I paid $400 for Louie and $700 for Elle. The breeder just wanted to hurry up and get rid of Louie cause he was going on 10 weeks old. ( and the breeder knew he was gonna be a big dog) And the funny thing is I got Elle when she was 10 1/2 weeks old. |
I paid 1800 for Charlie, from a small breeder in the business 20 yrs. and saw both parents, Charlie is very healthy except he was a crypt orchid. Surgery went fine and he is bouncing round the house. He is 7 mos. and weighs 5 lbs. Worth every penny. Breeder is in Michigan. AKC registered. Charlies brothers : Arlo miniature poodle no papers but purebred from a small local breeder 9 yrs. old 250.00lucked out with Arlo great dog great health breeder later called me and asked if she should charge more for her pups and I said definitely. Bosley teacup poodle 3 lbs 5 yrs old. from breeder in Kentucky 2500 Alfie toy poodle (suppose to be teacup) from breeder in Tennessee 900. Disreputable breeder. Dog a bit overbred and high strung. These babies are all priceless to me and while we need to do our research I really do believe more often than not you get what you pay for. :animal36 |

$700 for Chewy. AKC reg and full papers. Was $800 at the begining of our conversation, but when I was writing out the check, the breeder said $700. Pricing is all over the board huh? Some for $400 - $5000 on some website - wow! |

Sampson was 200.00, the last pup left in the litter. My friends had him and I just couldn't resist his sweet yorkie eyes that said "I want to go home with you". No papers, his parents were rescued in Kuwait. I paid 800.00 for Sophie and she is so perfect (AKC). The lady I bought her from was great. Never had on problem with her....she is so sweet.
