I paid $450.00 for Emmie, AKC registered, over 3 years ago. When I was told by someone else that her breeder had gone up to $1500.00, I bought my Izzyz B. for $850.00 from a BYB, and have now spent over $1000.00 in medical expenses (seizures) which the breeder has never offered to help pay. I also waited 6 months before he ever got her AKC papers to me and then they had her wrong birth date. So, though I love my Izzy B. dearly and would not take a million dollars for her, sometimes it is better to pay the higher price and hopefully get a healthy dog.

We got Bailey for $500 from a BYB. Saw the mom and dad and all the litter mates. They were all adorable, but Bailey was the best of the bunch. She was my wife's Mother's Day present this year. We picked her up a day before she was 8 weeks old and that was two months ago yesterday. Now we wouldn't take a hundred times that for her. (Don't think so, anyway - nobody's offered, so I can't be absolutely positive!)

Paid 1000 bucks for our precious pooch. I have the papers although I never got around to sending in the paperwork to AKC. Don't know if I still can at this point. Ah well, she's a keeper just the same...:D

I got Tiny from a small town in Indiana - $500.00 with papers, nothing stated that I had to get him fixed or anything...Wonderful breeder...She is defanitly into her Yorkies! And he is also AKC registered...His sister sold for $1000.00...I found him in the paper on a Saturday right before Valentines Day. Wouldn't trade him for anything...I would trade hubby before him!

Yea...I was reading up...I forgot about the fact that I got all the money back on Tiny. My lil man has a collapsed treacha....THAT CAME FROM THE WONDERFUL VET THAT I TOOK HIM TO FOR A NUETERING! They used to big of a tub whrn they treached him...But the breeder was wonderful...She and I both know that the collapsed treachea didn't come from mommy and daddy, it came from the vet. But she gave me a full refund... Awwwsssooommmeeee Breeder!

I paid 1250.00 for Baby and 1500.00 for Juicy. Both are AKC

I paid $300 for Scooter at 4 months. Breeder was needing to find homes for him and his two brothers....so she gave me a deal. Plus she thought they would be on the bigger side. He is around 6lbs (which is a perfect size for our family) and just turned a year old on June 1st....and I wouldn't trade him for the world! :luvu:

I paid $1000.00 for Sadie Mae and Lilli Rose (not sure of name yet) will be coming home August 13th....she was orginally $1500.00 but this is the second one I am buying from the same breeder...letting me pay $1200.00.:yorkiesar Both are AKC registered

I paid 575.00 for Casper in October 2005. He's CKC registered I have his papers. This was in Northern California

Hi ,
Hailey was $1350 when i bought her but just because she was going "off the market"(15 weeks!)or else she would have been $1600.She came with papers but she's not registered yet.

I got Marley for $250 (well my mom paid :p) I don't think he's AKC registered. The rescue found him with a chihuahua :confused:

I paid 1700 for my Nyx AKC registered all of her shots, except for rabies I gladly would've paid more for that cute face I fell in love with, lol!!

My Yorkie was listed for $800 (male). However, his breeder offers $20 off for paying with cash if you pick up your baby on site, which is exactly what we did since he was only an hour away ;) So we paid exactly $780. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the price! :D He is also AKC registered and has all his papers. He weighed 1 lb 12 oz at 3 months of age when we bought him.

My best friend, however, paid $1,000 + tax (close to $1,100 total) for her female here in town, and she got a sick pup (parvo) :(
