How much did you pay for your yorkie? Not sure if this has been done. I was just wondering the average price people payed. Also please state if your yorkie is registered and if you have papers. Lola was $1,000. We never bought the papers from the breeder. never met them either. We love her and papers were not important.:) |
romeo is akc champion sired. he was a steal at $650 from a breeder in south jersey.:aimeeyork |
Gracie was $1200 and I paid $850 for Rebel. Both are AKC registered. |
Codie (Male Maltese) -- $1,000 Katie (Female Yorkie) -- $1,200 Tia (Female Yorkie) -- $1,600 (We originally agreed to pay $1,800 but when we went to pick her up, he took $200 off) All 3 are AKC registered. |
My first Lucy was $700 or $750 and my Lucy Too was $800 or $850... They were both CKC registered. I don't remember the exact prices.... I have a bad memory..LOL Crystal |
I paid $850 for Ollie and almost twice that for Chachi, $1500. This has been done several times and the price range is totally ridiculous with not rhyme or reason to it. Which just proves it pays to shop around. Bargains can be found it you want to take the time to do the homework. We have also concluded that price made no difference in the quality. |
Daisy was going to be 1600 but I got her for 1200. She's aKC REGISTERED. hOPEFULLY MY BOY WILL BE CHEAPER. |
I paid $600 for Chachi and $1200 for Jewels. I got them from the same breeder and they are AKC registered and have grandparent champions. |
how about $ 1800.00,,, they wanted 2000.00,, shes all worth it, |
We paid $900. With all papers. It was funny, store wanted 1000, I got them down to 900 but cash only. So we went the ATM, the damn machine gave us 900 in $20 brand new bills. That gave us a pause, it was hard earned money at that time and we got secind thought all of the sudden. All this time Remi was already put aside for us waiting to return for him. So tell my girlfriend," ok, lets just go look at him one more time and if anything we'll just leave without him". Needless to say we are a happy family of 3 now. Best $900 ever spent. |
I paid 1700 for Oscar - I think he's registered, but I dont get his papers until I prove that he's been neutered. Couldn't care less either way though... it's just paper. |
We paid $500 for Kobe and $950 for Kali. Both are AKC registered. |
Skittles was $600 almost 3 yrs ago in KS and she is AKC, Choco is AKC as well and we got him from a breeder in FL a few wks ago, $1200 ( not including shipping). |
They were asking 1000. for Cindy, but when we got there they took 850.00. Worth every penny! We got to meet her parents and on fathers side there were 2 champions. They were beautiful,as is Cindy. I'll get her pics up one day lol. |
I paid $800 for Charlie four years ago. He has AKC Papers. I got him in Riverdale, GA. |
I got scampers for $525 and I have the paperwork to register him all I have to do is send it in and he will be akc registered. Yorkies here generally range from $500-$1200. However, my next yorkie will be around $1500. |
Coco was $1200 and she has papers :D worth every penny and more |
We paid $1800 for Dori and $1600 for Yogi, they are both ACA registered. We bought them both in Dallas 6 months apart. I think theres a pretty broad range of prices here. Mine were worth every penny we paid for them. |
Annabelle was $2000, but I got her from a well know shown dog breeder. It was tough at first to deal with the price, but I am glad I went with her. |
Tiffany was $2800!!! I know thats a whole LOT of money!! But I love her. She was worth it... best 2800 I have ever spent! Yes she has papers.. AKC and she has champion blood. ( I know- I am such a proud mommy!! Can't you tell!) |
we paid $400 for Chester at 5 months old standard size, no papers and no information about his shot records (ended up with lux. patella on one, bad teeth, and a "boy" sac that never came out which will require surgery from within to neuter) grew up on a 'yorkie farm' with about 100 other dogs from a breeder and has the worst habbits we had to break Zoe was $1500 at 10 weeks of age, toy size, perfect perfect girl...with papers and ckc registration-grew up with a family and was well taken of and up to date on shots/worming You get what you pay for! We love them both to death |
I paid 800 for Kizzy. she was the only girl but I could of got her brother who was just like her for 600 but I wanted a girl. But I did get the breeder to give me an extended health guarantee just in case the vet was way booked up. And she is registered and I have the pedigree with her, which didnt mean a lot to me, but I know for 4 generations all of them were registered as pure bred yorkies. if nobody fudged on their papers which ya never know for sure. |
I paid $2500. for the breeder's 30 years of experience and my pups beautiful gene pool. Worth every penny. |
We paid $750 for Lillie 3 years ago. She is AKC registered. We got her in Gwinnet County, Ga, outside Atlanta. |
I paid $850 for Petey. He is AKC registered. My parents paid $1000 for Wosie, she is AKC also. |
Petstore: $2300 with ACA papers (that sit in my closet). :p |
Buddy was $1,400.00 but because he was 3.5lbs at 3mos they lowered the price to $950.00. It did not matter the size to me. He is registered EKCH (Budapest, Hungary). His papers are in Hungarian! Today at 2yrs, he is 13.5lbs beautiful, loving and full of hell. Can't imagine life without him. |
romeo's mom, could you please tell me what breeder is south jersey you got romeo from? I am looking for another yorkie and that is a very good price. Thanks meeshue |
Georgie was $950 with papers from a breeder in North Carolina. I would pay 10x that now he is amazing:D |
Simba was $1050 and he's AKC registered. Females run much higher, especially in this area. He's worth every penny and ten times more! Just love him!!!! |
