When you start ordering - remember you still have a puppy so maybe try a couple of good products when you decide which you want to try...and see how it goes before you spend a ton of money. ..... When her puppy hair starts changing ....you may see a big difference but I really believe good products are a big help. I think the Plush Puppy would work really well on her. Then when she's older try the CC Products maybe. All the best to you...She's cute and thanks for the nice words for my girls..... | |

| The only time cutting, trimming, or shaving a pup's hair causes a different textured hair to come is ---- is when that "new or different texture" was going to come in anyway. Boy - I cut my pup's baby hair off as soon as possible - he definitely had a much nicer coat on the way - and I couldn't wait to get to it!!!!! Good luck - Carol Jean |

| it may be that you dont have a pur bred yorkie, ive read that their coats are supposed to be soft and silky. my daughter's yorkie is most likely a torkie which is crossed somewhere with a toy fox terrier, her coloring is identical to a yorkie and size is same but her coat is coarse and oily like the terrier part. they have genetic testing for less than 100 dollars if its important to find out. |

| YT Addict | Also I think at 12 weeks yorkies begin getting their permanent coats and shed their puppy hair. You may not have to do anything but to wait and see what kind if coat she will have. I live her reddish hair. My first yorkie was her color and she was gorgeous and had silky hair. You have to ignore some folks on yt they lack decorum. |
