it may be that you dont have a pur bred yorkie, ive read that their coats are supposed to be soft and silky. my daughter's yorkie is most likely a torkie which is crossed somewhere with a toy fox terrier, her coloring is identical to a yorkie and size is same but her coat is coarse and oily like the terrier part. they have genetic testing for less than 100 dollars if its important to find out. |
