Donating YT 1000 Club Member | How Do You Transport Your Furbabies? We love to take Jack with us whereever we go. In fact, we have a hard time getting out the door if he has to stay home. I must admit that he sits on my lap while travel with hubby. When I travel alone with him, he is in a crate which he hates. So much so that he has gotten sick. Now that we will have two of these little cuties, I was thinking of one of the car seats that are advertised on this site. Has anyone used one? How do you travel with your furbabies?

| We bought one of those snoozer carseats. Lola likes it because she can look out the window. However she mostly just goes to sleep. I feel better about having her in my car protected. If you were to get in accident she would not have any protection on your lap. |

| Ginger is usually in her celltei pak o pet, it has a place for the seatbelt, and I can leave her "sunroof" open. (it has a hook that attaches to her harness). I used to let my previous furbaby sit on the passenger seat or in my lap (even sometimes when I was driving), until I had a minor fenderbender (not my fault) and she flew through the car really hard and smacked into the gear shift. She ended up okay, but it scared the living daylights out of me, so I did some research. Did you know that dogs who are not restrained in the car often die in minor car accidents, OR survive the accident only to run out into traffic in the confusion? I'd never forgive myself if Ginger were hurt or worse because I didn't restrain her. Please, get a carseat, or a safety belt (petsmart sells them for pets), or SOMETHING to keep your little one restrained. P.S. I do alot of highway driving. I've chosen the b'pak o pet BECAUSE of the fact that it is a carrier in addition to working as a car seat. If my car would ever break down on the highway and I had to leave it, I would feel much safer with her safely zipped inside her carrier and strapped to my back (or over my shoulder). Sorry for the soapbox, I just hate it when I see our little ones running loose in the car. |

| Holly has an Outward Hound carseat which is attached to the front passenger seat.It means she can look out of the window or lie down and sleep , and see me all the time--no more crying in her crate in the car. She is attached using her harness,so is safe if I brake. Otherwise she would be jumping all over if I am the only one in the car.I think you can put it in the back too if you have rear headrests.

| Fagan rides in the lookout console carseat. He can see out the window and he can lay down and snooze if he wants to. It's much safer for both of us with him in his carseat and he likes it alot!!

I'm planning to purchase one of these bags too. I thought the seatbelt on the carrier was just an excellent device. Right now though, Aggie'd sit in her carrier that can't have seatbelt. It's another reason to choose the Celltei bag; it won't slide around. | |

| I have 2 carseats in the backseat of my car for Simon and Hallie. We drove from Alaska to Virginia so they are very good travelers and love it! They always ride in their seats and I put a pillow in between them that they lay their heads on. |
