I know what I'd do. I'd hide them some place safe and DARE him to try to get them. The mofo wouldn't get passed me OR my baseball bat!!

I know he's threatened to sue you, but as they say, possession is 9/10s of the law. Especially after all you've been through and all the money you've spent!!! And anyway, if he needs the money from the pups so badly, where is he going to get the money for an attorney???

Isn't the rule possesion is everthing? You lock the doors and get a restraining order. - Ok - is that going too far??? :P

From reading Skeeter's past posts about this whole situation, it's my opinion that this guy is a selfish lout.

I agree if you paid for her c-section I think this guy should be kissing
your behind and not the other way around. There is NO WAY I would
hand that dog or any pups over to him period without being court
ordered to do so. I believe if it came down to going to court if that
chump couldn't come up with the money you have out of pocket that
possession would stay with you anyway. Judge Judy would eat him for breakfast!

I agree with the above posts - DONT give him the dog or the puppies... this guy sounds like he is ready to be put in a straighjacket!!!!

LOL And poop him before lunch!!! LOL I'd love to see her get a hold of him!! If you read Skeeter's past threads, it's more than just the money. I think China found Skeeter for a reason...

hey thank you all for your help in this situation. But if I could keep China i would . i found out that my daughter is allergic to yorkie's and Maltese so I cant keep my dogs , I love my dogs and if I could keep them i would but they have to go and my daughter come first in my life.
I know that everyone thinks that yorkie's are hypoallerginic , My cousin , and my daughter are both allergic to them i even had the doctor check everything else that was possible and it still came back the dog's . I was going to keep them all untill the pup's where atleast 8 weeks but he wants her back and I dont think that there is much that I can do. i want the pup's to be in a good home that is why I was trying to sell them , I didnt want him selling them to the first person who came along. Callie was supossed to be mine but scence I can not have her , I thouhgt I would try to sel lher to some one on here that way i could still see picture's ext. of her and I know that she would be ok but it is not looking to good at this point thank's

sorry, I just bought a yorkie at 6 weeks old, believe me, I really am sane. lol. I havent had any problems with her. She runs and plays and eats and sleeps well. She has never even whined at night when I put her in her crate (or any other time i put her in it). She sleeps all night. I've had to get up at 3 am once and between 5 & 6 am 2 times, to take her out. That is all. She usually sleeps all night . She took right up with us and with anyone that has come to visit. She loves to play outside and I have like 8 steps to get off my deck. She started going down them at 8 weeks or under. She cant get up them as they are not real close together and she only weighes 2 lbs now at 10 weeks. (she will be 10 weeks tomorrow). She seems as healthy as any puppy I've ever had, and every one I've ever had I got them at 6 weeks old. Maybe i've been lucky. Everyone I've known that raises puppies starts letting go at 6 weeks. They are in ads everywhere ready to go at 6 weeks. So I don't understand when I read here that everyone thinks 6 weeks is just too young.

You are a strong person, you got that dog away from him so she could have her puppies. Now, just put your foot down. Tell him you are not releasing the dog and puppies until they are old enough and in your opinion ready to leave their momma. He can't break in to your house, just don't answer the door or phone when he comes. keep repeating "YOU can't have her back until she is ready" eventually he'll get it through his thick skull.

If you feel strongly that they are not ready to go, I too would just be firm with him, he agreed to let her stay until the puppies were ready to go and that is what you expect. If he wants to try and take you to court then he is in default of a verbal (if you guys did't do anything in writing) contract. I hope that she was spayed also so that he can not breed her again. Outside of being able to prove that he is neglectful in some way I don't think you could keep him from getting her back once the pups are gone to new homes.

Seriously - since you have China - If you choose not to give her back at this time - I think he'll have to take you to small claims court or hire a lawyer and get her back.

I think I would tell him that if he's willing to wait until the puppies are 8 weeks old, you will give China back to him.

If he's not willing to wait - and wants her sooner, he'll have to take you to court.

I really suspect he'll end up waiting because going to court (with or without a lawyer) can be expense, time consuming, and a real hassle.

AND - going to court takes time - so, you'll end up getting to keep her for a few more weeks anyway.

He's in a no-win situation.

Don't argue with this guy - just say he can have China back when the pups are 8 weeks old - and, if he wants her sooner, he'll have to take you to court. Leave it at that! I really think you have the winning hand on this one!

Well, that's just the case...if people are putting ads in the paper, the puppies are probably coming from brokers who get them from puppy mills, and not directly from the breeder. I am NOT a breeder, but BELIEVE me when I tell you this: Any reputable breeder would rather die than let their babies go at 6 weeks. Someone who lets them go that young is out for the money, and not the wellbeing of the pup. Sorry, I am NOT trying to be mean to you or anything like that. I'm just telling you the God's honest truth about the many breeders I have "met" through YT.

oh man, what a buttwipe!! I hope you somehow figure a way to hang on to her. What's he's deal? Seems like he doesn't really care anyway, so why's he so insistent on getting his dog back? Good grief.

Maybe you can call the humane society, let them know what's going on. Perhaps they can talk to him or take the mama and puppies in only to release them back to him when it's in the puppies best interest.

tell him to get lost...don't let him take her back...he is heartless to not care for him dog when she needed him. Posession is 9/10th of the law. Do you think he even has any proof that she is his dog? Did you take the dog to the vet and pay? Got a receipt?
