| Hair & Bows... I was wondering how long does their hair have to be on the top so i can put a cute bow on Ginger? also would it be good to shave Ginger's Hair? Will it grow silky? or will she still have puppy hair? (she's 4 months old by the way) http://www.complikated.net/kids/gingerclose4.JPG http://www.complikated.net/kids/ginger2.jpg http://www.complikated.net/kids/oreoginger1.JPG |

| i put a band on ahia's hair as soon as there was enough to get it to stick up there. even before she had too much to keep out of her eyes because she looks like a boy. everyone was thinking ahia was the boy and buckeye was the girl. so she needed something to put in a pink bow. now it is a must to have it up there. and by the way i found this page to help in making a top know. it has excellent pics showing how it is done. http://www.yorkies4me.com/topknots.ht

| I have been putting a rubber band in Tinkerbell's hair since she came home atleast a few times a week. I want her to get use to the feel of it. Your pup looks like she has enough hair right now to pull up in rubberband. Try it out. The rubber band doesn't necessarily go on top of the head, it sort of goes more on the forehead. You want to be able to get the hair right above the eyes pulled up into it. If all else fails tape it or velcro it!! By the way she's very very cute! |

| They are adorable. You can try getting her used to a band now. It will take time for her to get used to it. Personally I wouldn't cut her coat at all. It looks like it will come in silky. It will shift from puppy coat a bit at a time with age. Some people do like the trimmed look though so what ever your liking is works. |

| Your pups are so cute. The black one looks like a stuffed animal she is so sweet. Is she a Yorkie too? I've never seen one so black. I wouldn't shave her either. Her hair is just so pretty. I think she has enough to get a bow in. But, good luck, it isn't the easiest thing in the world.

| boy bows??? Okay, I am getting a boy. What do you all do with the hair when it is a boy. I am probably going to keep the puppy cut, but who knows if there will be a time I can't get the groomer real soon and I have to do something with his hair. I know my husband will not!! let me put a bow in a male dogs hair.. Hee. Hee.

| I love a boy with a pony tail!! They are so handsome. Hefner wears a pony and I either put a BOY BOW in it or I just put a little claw clip over the band. Maybe your hubby would be okay with the cla clip. It's the little mini ones in the drug store. |

| When you'll place the rubber band don't place too tight . I always place the teeth of the comb between the head and the rubber band , there is always a little space , they are never bother by them . |
