Alaskayorkie, your post made me smile. You sound just like my hubby.I love both my furbabies so much! I've had Cookie for the longest and he is my little shadow and has been the BEST companion I've ever had. I sometimes use the word dog and I actually feel uncomfortable calling him a dog! lol He's only lived a very pampered life with us. My new one Lola is bonding with me more and more everyday. She is just so warm and loving that I can't describe it in words.This morning I brought her to bed to be with Cookie and me and she ran to Cookie and was like making out with him lol I stared at them for like 10 minutes and felt so calm and relaxed. If that isnt theraputic then I don't know what is! I love them and I call them my other two children! I have pictures on my cell phone that I show people all the time. My vet has about 6 pictures in her waiting area of Cookie ,Lola and their "bedroom" My husband is VERY overprotective with them and rarely says no to shopping for the furkids!

Well I could go on and on in this thread!

I feel the same way. I think I probably hug and kiss and squeeze Nikko 20 times a day. Everything he does is cute to me and even when he does something wrong, I find myself making excuses for him. My fiancee doesn't understand and is a bit jealous of the attention I give Nikko. He's always saying how he wishes I would lavish him with all the attention I give Nikko. He doesn't understand that he is my baby boy and he's so sweet, its hard not to turn into a mushball around him. At least I know I am not alone. There are other nutjobs out there, just like me

Do you suppose people who own other breeds carry on like this, or is it a Yorkie thing? It seems to me that we can keep yorkies babies forever, because we can always hold them and carry then around. You just can't do that with larger breeds.

I would have loved to see them babies loving each other! My Kloey does that with are other dog, she is a Husky and sometimes I swear Kloey thinks she is her mommy! And no matter how much Kloey torments Malahn, Malahn just takes it all in, they really have a special bond!
It's so much fun buying for are furkids (as you put it) I love that!!!!!!

I love Cali so much that it hurts sometimes because I am so afraid of losing her. She's at the ER hospital right now and I miss her so much and I am so scared for her being there without me.

I can relate! I get emotional over my Maddie and especially when someone has lost a baby on YT. I just hug and kiss on Maddie and thank the good Lord she's alive and kicking!

I think that I love them too much sometimes! I can't imagine even loving children more then I do my "kids". I'm the same way about feeling so emotional about them that sometimes I just thank God that I've got them and that they are so special to me. I think of "what if I hadn't gotten them, where would they be and who would love them as much as I do?" And then I'm so thankful that they ended up with us...

I'm getting teary eyed just sitting here thinking about Tucker. I love him so much. When we got Bandit I fell in love with him, and when he died I never thought I could love another one. Tucker proved me wrong. No matter how crummy I'm feeling, he just has to jump up on my lap and lick me and it turns me right around. He's a little brat and I don't think the service dog thing will ever work with him, but I consider his "service" the unbelievable love he shows me. I have two teenagers (well, Megan will be a teenager in 3 weeks) and they accuse me of loving Tucker more than them. To which I answer, he treats me better! He really is my third child, the baby of the family.My sisters think I've lost my mind, but I don't listen to them. They've never had a yorkie!
