BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Kloey is in heat right now and I got her a diaper made by four paws I think is the name, it seems to be working great and it's adjustable. They have special pads you slip right into it. |

| Take a panty liner and cut it to fit inide the belly band. Make sure the sticky stuff doesn't get attached to him. I had the same problem with one of mine. You do have to change the pad often. With mine, he got what almost looked like diaper rash. Neosporin worked for me. Suz

I bought a belly band at our local vet supply store - I can't remember the brand though. - don't have the package it came in. It didn't have elastic around the edges. It is an adjustable velcro one. It was pretty wide, so I had to cut it down some and then I cut notches by the back legs (sometimes it seemed to rub). It came with some thick maxi pad like things, but we just use a little panty liner in it. We haven't used our much (just if we go to someone's house or spend the night somewhere - just in case). He has never peed in it though. So, he never wears it all day and we haven't used it in a long time.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I like the wash cloth and diaper pin idea, never thought of that, but I love these Four paws, and they are very unexpensive, I think I paid like $5.00 and some odd cents, then the pads are the same price and you get 15 and I cut them in half. I had to get an extra small for Kloey, what size do you need ? |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | the "four paw" one i got is leather, and has adjustable elastic sides that snap by her rear end, so far it has worked wonderful, I'm glad I bought it, I saw the denim one, but man they wanted almost 20 bucks for it, so I oppt for the cheaper one and I love it! If it has made marks on him, I sure would take it back and let them know what it has done to him! |

| If any of you sew, you can make your own belly bands. They are soooooo easy to make and can actually be sewn by hands, but that takes longer. i do not use elastic in minefor the reasons mentioned. I use 2 strips of velcro, double thickness of fabric and voila! belly band. Stick in a pad and he is on his way. I take them off about 3 or more times a day and clean his bum with baby wipes and use a medicated powder..Oh, and leave the bands off for a while each time you change it so his lipstick can air out.LOL |
