Great idea!
I bought a belly band at our local vet supply store - I can't remember the brand though. - don't have the package it came in. It didn't have elastic around the edges. It is an adjustable velcro one. It was pretty wide, so I had to cut it down some and then I cut notches by the back legs (sometimes it seemed to rub). It came with some thick maxi pad like things, but we just use a little panty liner in it. We haven't used our much (just if we go to someone's house or spend the night somewhere - just in case). He has never peed in it though. So, he never wears it all day and we haven't used it in a long time.
