| Oh, I'm so glad he's doing better. my heart was in my throat reading your first post. Please give your 5 year old a big YT hug, he must feel awful. It's hard for little ones to understand that accidents happen. And they seem to happen in the blink of an eye. I'm just glad he's going to be ok!

| I hope your baby gets better as each day goes by. Your post made me cry. I can't imagine all of the feelings that went on in your household. I feel terrible for your son. You are also in a strange situation because you love them both and also worry about the yorkie! Take care. I hope to hear more about your little one's recovery.

| Thanks again, everyone. We brought Bowzer home this afternoon and although he's better today, he's still "out of it". He's eaten a little bit and went potty outside, but he's definitely not himself. I hope his happy personality returns soon. He seems so sad. Matthew & Andrew, my 5 & 8 year olds, respectively, are just happy to have their doggy home. They are also doing much better today. |

| I am so glad Bowzer is doing better now and was able to go home with you today. I wish Bowzer a speedy recovery and hope your little Matthew feels better, too. Please tell Matthew that when accident happened, every one feels bad. It's OK to feel that way but he is NOT responsible for it. Please keep us updated. |

| Bowzer is doing better today, but he still is not himself. I'm just hoping he'll recover soon and be back to his spunky little self. His mouth doesn't look right to me. He always had a bit of an underbite, but it seems more pronounced now. I called the vet and told her that I still think we should xray him at some point, to make sure that he doesn't have a jaw fracture or break. She insists that she really doesn't believe its broken, but more likely bruised. She said to let's wait until Monday before making any decisions. If he's *back to normal* by then and his mouth looks normal again, then she just wants to check him, but if he's still the same and his mouth looks like it does now, then he'll be going under anesthesia and being xrayed. I'll definitely keep you posted. Right now, I've just been babying him. I stayed up with him all night because I was afraid for him. I've only been giving him wet food for now because I'm afraid hard foor would hurt him to chew. (Unfortunately, soft food makes him reaaaaally gassy - PU!! But that's ok, whatever helps him.) He's very mushy today, but he got excited when he heard the garage door open (because he knew Daddy was home). He also perked up when he heard his doggy neighbors in the yard. He wasn't interested in really seeing them though. I guess they're like little furry people. When you're not feeling well, you just can't be bothered... |

I pray he will be better by Monday and will not have to undergo any further discomfort. You also have a very good vet....not rushing into costly x-rays and the risks associated with anesthesia. Good luck and we will all be anxiously awaiting your next report on Bowser
