Bowzer is doing better today, but he still is not himself. I'm just hoping he'll recover soon and be back to his spunky little self. His mouth doesn't look right to me. He always had a bit of an underbite, but it seems more pronounced now.

I called the vet and told her that I still think we should xray him at some point, to make sure that he doesn't have a jaw fracture or break. She insists that she really doesn't believe its broken, but more likely bruised. She said to let's wait until Monday before making any decisions. If he's *back to normal* by then and his mouth looks normal again, then she just wants to check him, but if he's still the same and his mouth looks like it does now, then he'll be going under anesthesia and being xrayed.

I'll definitely keep you posted. Right now, I've just been babying him. I stayed up with him all night because I was afraid for him. I've only been giving him wet food for now because I'm afraid hard foor would hurt him to chew. (Unfortunately, soft food makes him reaaaaally gassy - PU!! But that's ok, whatever helps him.)

He's very mushy today, but he got excited when he heard the garage door open (because he knew Daddy was home). He also perked up when he heard his doggy neighbors in the yard. He wasn't interested in really seeing them though.

I guess they're like little furry people. When you're not feeling well, you just can't be bothered...
